A Collaborative Intervention for Improving Cancer Pain Management in Rural and Hispanic Cancer Survivors (ASCENT)
Recruiting
This clinical trial tests a collaborative pain management intervention (ASCENT) for improving cancer pain in rural and Hispanic cancer survivors. Cancer pain is prevalent, under-treated, and remains a major cause of suffering, impairment, and disability for millions of Americans. Individual pain interventions and care models show promise for cancer pain in controlled settings. Hispanic and rural-dwelling cancer survivors stand to benefit the most from electronic health record innovations, as eac... Read More

Schedule De-Escalation of 177Lu-PSMA-617 for the Treatment of Metastatic Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how to improve the usage of Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan (177Lu-prostate-specific membrane antigen \[PSMA\]-617) for treating patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site), to other places in the body (metastatic) utilizing a treatment pause after 5 cycles of therapy versus standard continuous treatment for 6 cycles. Lutetium is a radioligand therapy (RLT). RLT uses a small molecule (in this case 177Lu-PS... Read More

Parasitic Ulcer Treatment Trial
Recruiting
The Parasitic Ulcer Treatment Trial (PUTT) is a multi-center, parallel-group, randomized clinical trial. The purpose of this study is to determine whether including topical corticosteroids in a regimen for acanthamoeba keratitis (AK) will improve vision. Patients presenting to all enrollment centers with evidence of acanthamoeba keratitis will be eligible for the trial if there is evidence of ocular inflammation after 4 weeks of anti-amoebic therapy. Those who agree to participate will be random... Read More

Effect of Adult Spinal Deformity Surgery on Functional Reach
Recruiting
Adult spinal deformity (ASD) is a common spinal condition that often impacts an individual's ability to stand and maintain an upright posture. Poor balance often limits an individual's ability to perform basic activities of daily life (ADL) and can lead to disability. Current considerations of correcting ASD to improve balance focus on the amount of sway that one exhibits during normal standing. However, current tests do not provide insight into the limits of balance during normal ADL. The goal... Read More
