Combined Thrombectomy for Distal MediUm Vessel Occlusion StroKe
Recruiting
A phase III, randomized, multi-center, investigational, open label clinical trial that will examine whether treatment with endovascular thrombectomy is superior to standard medical therapy alone in patients who suffer a Distal Medium Vessel Occlusion Ischemic Stroke within 12 hours from time last seen well

Single-tracer Multiparametric PET Imaging
Recruiting
The overarching goal of this project is to develop and evaluate a single-tracer multiparametric positron emission tomography (PET) imaging solution for simultaneous imaging of blood flow and glucose metabolism using 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) alone. The investigators working hypothesis is that quantitative blood flow can be extracted from dynamic 18F-FDG PET data by use of tracer kinetic modeling, in addition to glucose metabolism that 18F-FDG is conventionally used for.

Therapeutic Endpoint in Pediatric IBD Conditions
Recruiting
The purpose of this clinical study is the development of physiologic endpoint of inflammation in pediatric patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), specifically subtypes Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). The novel medical device evaluates the patient's sensory response to each of the three sensory nerve fiber types. Data from the device provides an assessment of disease activity and a more precise approach to treatment.

A Study to Assess BMS-986458 Alone and in Combination With Anti-lymphoma Agents in Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, drug levels, and preliminary biological and clinical activity of BMS-986458, a bifunctional cereblon-dependent ligand-directed degrader of B-cell lymphoma 6 (BCL6), as a single agent and in combination with anti-lymphoma agents in participants with relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

The Gut, Liver And Metabolome in Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
Recruiting
Persons with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) have higher risk of developing fatty liver disease (NAFLD) than HIV-negative persons but the reasons for this discrepancy are not known. Changes in the intestinal microbiome may contribute to the development of NAFLD in persons with HIV (PWH) through impairment of barrier function of the intestinal wall and by producing metabolites that are harmful to the liver. This project will test the hypothesis that HIV-related NAFLD is associated with differe... Read More

Evaluation of Geriatric Assessment and Management for Older Adults With Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Receiving Chemotherapy Radiation Therapy
Recruiting
This clinical trial tests how well a geriatric assessment (GA) with GA-directed treatment recommendations, compared to GA with usual care, works in identifying risk factors, reducing chemotherapy radiation toxicity and functional decline, and improving the overall quality of life in older patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Older patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy are at an increased risk of adverse outcomes including treatment toxicity and functional and physical co... Read More

Better Sleep Study
Recruiting
The overall aim of this proposal is a confirmatory efficacy trial sufficiently powered and designed to test the hypothesis that improving the relationship between biological circadian timing and waketime, a novel modifiable target, improves depression outcomes in a subgroup of adolescents with depression and a misaligned relationship between biological circadian timing and waketime utilizing a cognitive-behavioral sleep intervention.

Alcohol & Men's Sexual Risk Behaviors
Recruiting
This project extends the investigators' previous research regarding the intersecting risks of alcohol, sexual risk behavior (SRB), and sexual aggression (SA) in male drinkers who have sex with women by examining the mediating and moderating roles of both intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional factors. While independent streams of research consistently document alcohol's role in SRB and SA, the investigators' work has demonstrated that these behaviors are related, and that alcohol exacerbates... Passive Music Intervention for the Reduction of Anxiety in Patients Undergoing Bone Marrow Aspiration and/or Biopsy
Recruiting
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding passive music when undergoing bone marrow biopsy/aspirate versus bone marrow biopsy/aspirate alone in reducing anxiety. Music therapy helps relieve pain or stress and promote well-being. Listening to music during a bone marrow biopsy/aspirate procedure may reduce anxiety during the procedure.
