Physical Rehabilitation for Older Patients With Acute Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction
Recruiting
The REHAB-HFpEF trial will determine whether a novel physical rehabilitation intervention will improve the primary outcome of combined all-cause rehospitalizations and mortality and the secondary outcome of major mobility disability during 6-month follow-up in patients hospitalized for heart failure and preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), which is nearly unique to older persons, and for which there are few treatment options.

Adaptive Hip Exoskeleton for Stroke Gait Enhancement
Recruiting
This work will focus on new algorithms for robotic exoskeletons and testing these in human subject tests. Individuals who have previously had a stroke will walk while wearing a robotic exoskeleton on a specialized treadmill as well as during other movement tasks (e.g. over ground, stairs, ramps). The study will compare the performance of the advanced algorithm with not using the device to determine the clinical benefit.

Pain and Activity Levels After Orthodontic Separators
Recruiting
The primary aim of this study is to evaluate the reported pain intensity following placement of Orthodontic separators on healthy volunteers aged 15-49 in relation to their recorded physical activity level.
Hypothesis 1: The investigators hypothesize that participants with higher daily step counts and physical activity levels will report significantly less pain intensity from orthodontic separators than their less active peers following separator placement. Null hypothesis is that participants... Read More

Long-term Follow-up After Adoptive Transfer of Genetically Modified Cell Products
Recruiting
Human gene therapy products are designed to achieve therapeutic effect through genetic modifications of human cells using retroviral or lentiviral vectors, resulting in permanent or long-acting changes in the human body. With this genetic modification comes risk of undesirable adverse events. Due to this risk, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Biologics Evaluation and research (CBER) require long-term follow-up (15 years) of participants that receive investigational gene...
