The main goal of this study is to find out if supplementing with resveratrol improves skeletal muscle adaptations to strengthening exercise (resistance training or strength training) in adults age 60+, and to determine whether circulating vehicles of inter-organ communication (extracellular vesicles) and their cargo might help explain those responses. This is a Phase I dose finding study of GTB-3650 (anti-CD16/IL-15/anti-CD33) Tri-Specific Killer Engager (TriKE®) for the treatment of select CD33-expressing refractory/relapsed myeloid malignancies in adults ≥ 18 years of age who are not a candidate for potentially curative therapy, including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and are refractory to, intolerant of, or ineligible for therapy options that are known to provide clinical benefit. The hypothesis is GTB-3650 TriKE will induce natural killer (NK) cell function by targeting malignant cells, as well as, CD33+ myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSC) which contribute to a tumor induced immunosuppression. This study will look at how well CagriSema helps people with obesity lose weight compared to a "dummy medicine". CagriSema is a new medicine developed by Novo Nordisk. CagriSema cannot yet be prescribed by doctors. The study has two parts: First part is called the main phase and will last for 2 years, and second part is called the extension phase and will last for 1 year. In the main phase participants will either get CagriSema or "dummy medicine". Which treatment participants get is decided by chance and is not known by participants or the study doctor. In the extension phase participants will get either CagriSema or slowly reduce participants dose of CagriSema if participants had CagriSema in the main phase. Which treatment participants get is decided by chance and is not known by participants or the study doctor in both phases. This study will assess cognition, neural function, and drug exposure in chronic pain patients who have been prescribed medical cannabis and will differentiate outcomes based on use of specific CBD-dominant versus THC-dominant treatment products. This longitudinal study will recruit medical cannabis users from local dispensaries. Each participant will complete a baseline assessment prior to the start of medical cannabis use, monthly phone calls to assess treatment adherence, and a four-month follow- up assessment. The aims of this project are: Aim 1. To assess impacts of medical cannabis compounds on executive functions, learning and memory in adults to determine whether cognitive impairments are evident after the onset of cannabis use; Aim 2. To assess the impacts of medical cannabis compounds on white matter microstructure, functional brain activity and functional connectivity; Aim 3. To differentiate change over four months in these outcomes as a function of (a) age and (b) pre-to-post-treatment changes in blood levels of cannabinoid compounds. Read Less

This is a 3-arm randomized controlled trial to examine the effects of cigarillo public education messages among Black young adults who are at-risk for established cigarillo smoking. The primary outcomes are cigarillo harm perceptions, outcome expectancies, and use intentions at 3-month follow-up. Exploratory outcomes are use behaviors (cigarillo smoking initiation and use behaviors) measured at 3-month follow-up. These outcomes will also be measured at 1-month follow-up time point. Read Less
