This study will test the safety of ruxolitinib, given at one dose that does not change, and duvelisib, given at different doses, to find out what effects, if any, the study treatment has on people with relapsed or refractory NK-cell or T-cell lymphoma. This proposal outlines the steps required for the creation of a pilot database of EEG recordings and de-identified medical records from patients internally referred within the UNMH Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. The UNMH EEG Corpus would be the first database of its kind. Other public databases contain either patient EEG signals or medical records, but without both kinds of information, it is impossible to relate pre-treatment neurobiomarkers with post-treatment prognosis. The database will also contain information that can improve seizure localization based off of scalp and intracranial EEG, and the requisite data for the creation of algorithms that forecast seizure activity; a development that could ultimately lead to novel responsive neural stimulation procedures that suppress seizures before they begin. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between common clinical assessments and measurements of the function of brain-spinal cord-muscle connections, and to examine the effects of training a brain-spinal cord-muscle response in individuals with incomplete spinal cord injury. A transcranial magnetic stimulator (TMS) is used for examining brain-to-muscle pathways. This stimulator produces a magnetic field for a very short period of time and indirectly stimulates brain cells with little or no discomfort. The target muscle is the wrist extensor (extensor carpi radialis) muscle that bends the wrist back. It is hypothesized that training the wrist extensor muscle response to transcranial magnetic stimulation will increase the strength of the brain-to-muscle pathway, which will improve the ability to move the arm. It is hoped that the results of this training study will help in developing therapy strategies for individuals, promoting better understanding of clinical assessments, and understanding treatments that aim to improve function recovery in people with spinal cord injury (SCI). Advancements in prenatal genetic screening have significantly improved the identification of chromosomal abnormalities and heritable conditions during pregnancy, yet current standards for patient education in this domain are largely ineffective. The most effective approach to education about prenatal screening is one-on-one genetic counseling, but due to the limited number of counselors this is not feasible, especially in rural and frontier areas. This randomized controlled trial will: 1) Test the efficacy of the CHOICES-TEEN (CT) intervention compared with an Attentional Control (AC) condition on reducing the risk of substance-exposed pregnancy (SEP) and HIV/STI among high-risk female youth involved with the juvenile justice system by reducing alcohol use, increasing marijuana cessation, reducing risk of pregnancy, and increasing condom use; 2) Test the efficacy of CT, compared to AC, on increasing cognitive self-regulation abilities; 3) Test proposed intervention mediators/mechanisms of action for CT overall and by race/ethnicity; and 4) Test the moderating effect of initial readiness to change on risk of SEP and risk of HIV/STI. This trial will treat patients with platinum resistant ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer as defined by a progression free interval within six months of completion of most recent platinum-based treatment with a combination of vismodegib and atezolizumab. Despite recent improvements in treatment of ovarian cancer with the introduction of PARP inhibitors, response rates to therapy in the platinum resistant setting remain dismal with response rates of only 10-20% reported for single agent cytotoxic therapies. Given the poor prognosis and limited treatment options for these patients, this population is considered appropriate for trials of novel therapeutic candidates. Read Less

The overarching goal of the proposed study is to determine the trajectories of physical recovery and cellular markers involved with the underlying failure to recover muscle after critical illness, while exploring which characteristics are associated with sustained physical disability. This proposal will examine muscle pathophysiology carefully aligned with physical function outcomes in order to longitudinally assess the recovery, or failed recovery, of muscle function in participants after critical illness: 1. to examine the recovery of muscle and physical function in ICU survivors through longitudinal assessments 2. to investigate the underlying cellular markers and mechanisms of muscle recovery in ICU survivors 3. to determine which cellular markers contribute to physical disability in ICU survivors up to 1 year after hospital admission Read Less

The purpose of this study is to measure safety and efficacy of oral belumosudil in Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander male and female participants with cGVHD who have previously been treated with at least 2 prior lines of systemic therapy aged 12 years and above. The duration of participants participation will be up to 4 weeks for screening, treatment until clinically significant progression of disease, and 4 weeks of safety follow-up, and then long-term follow-up every 12 weeks.1 Cycle = 28 days.
