Characterization of Dysmorphology in Subjects With Creatine Transporter Deficiency
Recruiting
Background:
Creatine transporter deficiency (CTD) is a genetic disorder that mainly affects the brain in males. CTD causes intellectual disability that can be mild to severe. People with CTD may have seizures and behavioral issues. They may have slow growth and tire easily. CTD may sometimes be confused with autism or other disorders. Better diagnostics are needed. The study team in an NIH study noted that the faces of children with CTD can look similar. For this natural history study, an exper... Read More

Comparing Combinations of Targeted Drugs for Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer That Has EGFR and MET Gene Changes (A Lung-MAP Treatment Trial)
Recruiting
This phase II Lung-MAP treatment trial test the combination of targeted drugs (capmatinib, osimertinib, and/or ramucirumab) in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced) and that has EGFR and MET gene changes. Capmatinib and osimertinib are in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cel... Read More

Indocyanine Green (ICG) Guided Sentinel Lymph Node Mapping for Pediatric Visceral Solid Tumors
Recruiting
The purpose of the study is to find out the usefulness and safety of a dye called Indocyanine Green (ICG for short). This dye will be used to help the surgeon find lymph nodes draining solid tumors inside the abdomen that need to be removed. This may also help the surgeon to find if the cancer has moved to other lymph nodes outside of the known area.
Primary Objectives
* To determine the percentage of patients in whom Indocyanine Green (ICG)-guided sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping was success... Read More

Testing How the Body Responds to the Drug CBX-12 in Patients With Advanced Solid Cancers
Recruiting
This phase I trial studies how well CBX-12 works in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread from where they first started (primary site) to started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced) or other places in the body (metastatic). CBX-12 works by binding to a protein called TOP1 that is present inside the cells. This allows CBX-12 to kill the cancer cells by damaging their DNA, resulting in cancer cell death. This trial is being done to find out if this... Read More

Recruiting
This is a Phase 2, randomized two-armed, multi-site study of 170 patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme. Patients will be randomized 1:1 to receive Keto Diet, or Standard Anti-Cancer Diet. All patients will receive standard of care treatment for their glioblastoma. The Keto Diet intervention will be for an 18-week period and conducted by trained research dietitians. Daily ketone and glucose levels will be recorded to monitor Keto Diet adherence.

Spatiotemporal Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy for the Treatment of Patients With Polymetastatic Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the safety and effectiveness of spatiotemporal stereotactic body radiation therapy (ST-SBRT) in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other parts of the body (polymetastatic). SBRT uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. This method may kill tumor cells with fewer doses over a shorter period and cause less damage to normal tissue. ST-SBRT is designed to deliver radiation directly to the core... Read More
