The investigators are conducting a two-site randomized control trial with the aim of defining the impact of music (M) without or with parent voice (MPV) on very preterm infants' acute and cumulative stress, intranetwork connectivity on term brain MRI, and language and other neurodevelopmental outcomes at two years corrected age. Social determinants of health (SDoH) such as housing instability, food insecurity, and financial burden largely shape the health and well-being of individuals, create health inequities, and drive a large portion of avoidable adverse health outcomes and healthcare costs. With new advancements in treatment and rising out-of-pocket expenses, individuals facing cancer are especially vulnerable to the adverse effects of SDoH. To address these barriers, a novel solution is needed to support oncology patients, clinical teams, and community-based organizations (CBOs) across the cancer continuum. In a Phase I contract award, XanthosHealth developed ConnectedNest, a novel electronic social care referral platform to screen for SDoH needs and connect individuals with cancer to social and community services provided by CBOs while engaging the oncology team in the SDoH referral process. Through additional funding, a pilot study was completed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in partnership with Minnesota Cancer Alliance, involving the collaboration of 14 CBOs focused on cancer. 50 cancer survivors from these CBOs were enrolled to utilize the ConnectedNest platform for a 90-day duration. Our study involved the collection and analysis of crucial metrics related to patient and CBO engagement, SDoH needs, and the volume of feasible social care referrals. In Phase II, the technical features and integration capabilities of ConnectedNest will be enhanced based on learnings in Phase I and completed pilot study. This is a Phase I Trial evaluating the safety of the dietary supplement honokiol for lung cancer chemoprevention. Female or male patients aged 18 years, or older, with early stage lung cancer who have been scheduled for curative surgery will be eligible for participation in the study. The study will only enroll patients with stage I lung cancers less than 4 cm, given the recent approval of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and nivolumab for stage IB tumors \> 4 cm. Approximately, 15 patients will be enrolled in the study. They will take the study drug, honokiol, for 2 weeks prior to the surgery. The purpose of the study is to better understand the effects of cannabis in relation to mental and physical states including its relationship with mood, cognition, perception including the experience of temperature and pain, and heart rate. We expect that participants will be in this research study for approximately one week. People with disabilities (PWD) experience increased risk of diagnostic error-sometimes due to attributing symptoms to disability rather than a potentially new or co-morbid conditions. As well, some diagnoses are prone to error. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if stem cell therapy works to treat brain inflammation in adults. Inflammation in the brain may be involved in adults who have memory or thinking problems. The stem cells will be taken from participant's fat samples, processed and given back to participants, so they are their own donor. The main questions this trial aims to answer are: * Does stem cell therapy reduce inflammation in the brain? * Does stem cell therapy improve brain activity? * Does stem cell therapy slow down progression to Alzheimer's disease? Participants will: * Have a small fat biopsy taken at a doctor's office to process stem cells * Receive 4 infusions of stem cells, through a vein in the arm over 12 weeks * Visit the clinic every 2-4 weeks for the first 4 months and then every 1-2 months for 8 months for checkups and tests Read Less

This is a single-center pilot study to determine if an adductor canal continuous nerve block is superior to single injection nerve block following total knee arthroplasty. Investigators will randomize participants to either continuous nerve block or single injection nerve block for the adductor canal preoperatively. They will assess differences in pain (measured in numeric rating scale), opioid consumption, and physical therapy milestones from postoperative day 0 to 7. Read Less
