Tenapanor is the newest FDA-approved drug for IBS with constipation (IBS-C). This study seeks to understand tenapanor as a treatment for cystic fibrosis-related constipation (CFrC) in CF patients. Participants will ingest one 50 mg tablet of tenapanor, twice daily, for a 4-week treatment period. They will also complete three questionnaires, the PAC-SYM, PAC-QoL, and IBS-SSS, and daily diaries to characterize GI symptom burden and spontaneous bowel movement (SBM) frequency. Read Less

This is a hybrid type 1 non-inferiority implementation effectiveness trial among postpartum patients with hypertension (N=1536) that will test the hypothesis that RI-SPHERES (a technologically enabled collaborative care model) is non-inferior to a standard self-measured blood pressure program in terms of persistent hypertension at six weeks postpartum and preventive care receipt within one year of delivery. This project includes testing circadian reset technology (CRT) on frequency of binge eating in a sample of 40 individuals with binge eating disorder. Participants will be randomized to one of two groups. Both groups use a virtual reality (VR) headset for 10 minutes (5 upon waking, 5 before sleep) daily for 1 month. One group will use the CRT software on the headset and the other group will use a software intended to be a control. Measures will be taken at baseline and 1-month. This is an open-label, multi-center, Phase 0/1 dose-escalation trial designed to enroll up to 9 total recurrent glioblastoma (rGBM) participants with confirmed MTAP loss/deletion in their archival or pretreatment biopsy tissue, who are scheduled for surgical resection. MTAP loss/deletion will be determined by next-generation sequencing (NGS). The trial will include a dose escalation design to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety and tolerability of BMS-986504 (MRTX1719). The trial will be composed of a Phase 0 component and an Expansion Phase 1 component. Participants with tumors demonstrating a positive PK response in the Phase 0 component of the study will be eligible to enroll into the the Phase 1 component that will include 21-day cycles of therapeutic dosing of BMS-986504. The purpose of this study is to examine ACLR Rehabilitation with Exercise and Psychological Support (REPS), comparing two approaches for providing psychological support along with exercise during ACL reconstruction rehabilitation. In one group, physical therapists have received training that may boost emotional support during rehabilitation. In the other group, physical therapists will not have the training. Both groups will get similar exercises and participate in the same testing. Both groups will also watch short videos during rehabilitation that are specific to their group. Participants will not know to which group they are assigned until the end of the study. Participation will attend a total of four study visits over the course of 6 months, including 1 visit before the surgery and 3 visits during follow-up. Read Less

The purpose of this research is to evaluate a new investigational device for the diagnosis of stroke, the EMVision emu™ Brain Scanner. Stroke is the result of a blood clot stopping the normal flow of blood in the brain (ischaemic stroke) or a breakage in a blood vessel causing bleeding in the brain (haemorrhagic stroke). Stroke is a medical emergency and must be quickly diagnosed and treated. Computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans are commonly used to diagnose stroke, but they are not always readily available. EMVision has developed the emu™ Brain Scanner, a helmet-like device which scans the head using ultra-high frequency radio signals. It is portable and easy to use, making it more accessible than CT or MRI machines. Easier access to the EMVision emu™ Brain Scanner may reduce the time taken to diagnose stroke, leading to faster treatment and better health outcomes. It is the purpose of this study in the first instance to determine the accuracy of the EMVision emu™ Brain Scanner in the detection of haemorrhagic stroke. Read Less
