The Effects of Acute and Chronic Exercise on Immune Phenotype of Indolent Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patients
Recruiting
This clinical trial studies the effect of short-term (acute) and long-term (chronic) exercise on immune characteristics and function (phenotype) of patients with indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Most newly-diagnosed CLL patients have early-stage disease at the time of diagnosis and do not require treatment. Despite not needing therapy, these patients have significant immune dysfunction. This may lead to an increased risk of serious infections requiring... Read More

Open Trial of Trauma-focused Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for People Living With HIV and PTSD
Recruiting
People living with HIV (PLWH) have a higher rate of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosis than the general population. Comorbid PTSD is also associated with negative HIV-related health outcomes. Unfortunately, little outcome research has examined the usefulness of PTSD treatments for PTSD. This pilot study adapts for PLWH a non-exposure based psychotherapy for PTSD focused on reflecting on one's emotions and relationships and understanding and working through how trauma may have disrup... Assessment of a Radiomics-based Computer-Aided Diagnosis Tool for Pulmonary nodulES
Recruiting
This is a pragmatic clinical trial that will study the effect of a radiomics-based computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) tool on clinicians' management of pulmonary nodules (PNs) compared to usual care. Adults aged 35-89 years with 8-30mm PNs evaluated at Penn Medicine PN clinics will undergo 1:1 randomization to one of two groups, defined by the PN malignancy risk stratification strategy used by evaluating clinicians: 1) usual care or 2) usual care + use of a radiomics-based CAD tool.

NS-089/NCNP-02-201 in Boys With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)
Recruiting
This is a Phase 2, open-label, multi-center, 2-part study of NS-089/NCNP-02 administered by weekly IV infusion to ambulant boys aged ≥4 to \<15 years with DMD due to mutations amenable to exon 44 skipping. Participants will receive a selected dose of NS-089/NCNP-02 administered once weekly. The study consists of 2 parts: Part 1 and Part 2. Six participants (Cohort 1) will participate in both Part 1 and Part 2, and 14 participants (Cohort 2) will be added for Part 2.

An Exercise Intervention to Improve Overall Brain Health
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to test the effects of 10 weeks of exercise on overall brain health, reduction in blood pressure, and the number of blood vessels in the back of the eyes in patients with hypertension and have a body mass index ≥ 25 kg/m2. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: * To test the effect of moderate vs intensive exercise on Brain Care Score outcomes. * To ascertain the differential impact of moderate vs high intensity exercise in reducing hypertension and its...
