The goal of this study is to better understand how the thoughts and beliefs of patients with low back pain and their physical therapist influence how much patients benefit from physical therapy. Participants will receive physical therapy as determined by their physical therapist including spinal manipulative therapy, exercise, and education. Participants with low back pain and their physical therapists will complete forms about their thoughts and beliefs about low back pain and treatment. Read Less

The overarching intention of the Eating Disorder Genetics Initiative 2 (EDGI2) is to increase sample size, diversity, and eating disorder phenotypes. The investigators are enrolling 20,000 new participants with anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge-eating disorder (BED), avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and controls in the US, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and Denmark. A primary study goal is to enroll at least 30% of participants from underrepresented groups. Participants are asked to complete a series of questionnaires and submit a saliva sample for genotyping. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether if it is feasible to implement a study of patients receiving kidney transplantation, to learn if these patients will complete selective outcomes measurements, and to examine if a lifestyle intervention may assist with preventing weight gain compared to standard medical care. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is it feasible to recruit and retain patients who have undergone kidney transplantation into a study to compare standard medical care to standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention focused on prevention of weight gain? * Will participants engage in the interventions and be compliant to the components of the interventions? * Will there be any difference between the interventions between the interventions for the occurrence of adverse events specific to kidney transplantation? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on preventing weight gain compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on body composition compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on fasting glucose compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on fasting insulin compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on insulin sensitivity compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on physical function compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on health-related quality of life compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on changes in dietary intake compared to standard medical care alone? * Will there be initial effectiveness for the standard medical care plus a lifestyle intervention to have a better effect on physical activity and sedentary behavior compared to standard medical care alone? Participants will: * Participants will continue with their standard medical care following kidney transplantation. * Participants only receiving standard medical care will also complete brief monitoring visits at week 6, 12, and 18. * Participants receiving the lifestyle intervention will attend weekly intervention sessions and will be recommended to modify their diet and physical activity behaviors in an effort to prevent weight gain. * Participants will complete outcome measurements as the start of the study and again after 6 months in the study. * After 6 months in the study, participants will also complete a brief intervention and answer other questions about their experience in the study. Background: People with alcohol use disorder (AUD) have a higher rate of dental and gum disease. Poor oral health can increase the risk of other diseases, such as diabetes and stroke. Researchers want to learn more about how to identify developing inflammation in the mouth. They also want to know how improved oral health education and behaviors can affect inflammation in people with AUD. Objective: This study has 2 goals: (1) to test the usefulness of a new questionnaire about oral health and (2) to learn more about how oral health behaviors affect inflammation in people with AUD. Eligibility: People aged 18 years and older who are staying on an inpatient unit being treated for AUD. Healthy volunteers are also needed. Design: The study is divided into 2 parts: People will participate in either one part or the other. In part 1, participants will have 1 visit. They will have a physical exam. They will answer 18 questions for a survey about how they care for their teeth. In part 2, participants with AUD will have a physical exam. They will provide saliva and blood samples. They will have a dental exam with X-rays. They will fill out questionnaires about their health, mental health, social habits, diet, and sleep. Background: Autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome (ALPS) is a rare disorder of the immune system caused by a mutation in the FAS gene. In ALPS, the body stores too many germ-fighting cells called lymphocytes. This can lead to an enlarged spleen and lymph nodes. Current treatments for ALPS can have many adverse effects. Better treatments for ALPS are needed. Objective: To test a study drug (soquelitinib) in people with ALPS. Eligibility: People aged 16 years and older with ALPS. Design: Participants will have 8 clinic visits and 6 remote visits within 1 year. Participants will be screened. They will have a physical exam with blood and urine tests. Some may have tests of their lung function. Soquelitinib is a tablet taken by mouth twice a day. Participants will record their doses and any symptoms on a paper or online form. Blood tests and other procedures will be repeated during study visits. Three visits will include imaging scans. Participants will lie on a table that slides through a doughnut-shaped machine while X-rays capture pictures of the inside of their body. Some participants may be able to remain in the study for a second year. Read Less

Research has shown that for women who are undergoing pelvic radiation therapy, fatigue is a common side effect. Fatigue that occurs during radiation therapy can make it harder to perform daily living activities. While there are studies that recommend exercise as a treatment for fatigue in cancer patients and survivors, there are currently no studies that focus on the role of exercise for women undergoing pelvic radiation therapy. The purpose of this study is to see if incorporating an activity coaching program is helpful in improving treatment-related fatigue for women undergoing pelvic radiation therapy for endometrial cancer. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) can help adults with knee pain after knee replacement surgery. The study is comparing PRT to usual care (the regular treatment people get after surgery) to see which works better for relieving pain. The main questions the study aims to answer are: 1. Does PRT help lower pain in people who have chronic knee pain after knee surgery? 2. How do the effects of PRT compare with usual care in terms of pain relief and other factors such as anxiety, depression, and sleep? 3. How does PRT impact the brain? Participants will: 1. Be randomly assigned to receive either PRT or usual care. 2. Complete questionnaires about their pain and health. 3. If in the PRT group, have eight weekly therapy sessions over video calls with a therapist. 4. If interested, may also take part in an optional EEG test to measure brain activity related to pain.
