This is a phase 1, open-label, non-randomized study enrolling pediatric and young adult research participants with treatment-refractory Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), to examine the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of administering T cell products derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) that have been genetically modified to express CD19 specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) A child or young adult meeting all eligibility criteria and meeting none of the exclusion criteria will have their T cells collected. The GORE Tissue Reinforcement for Breast Reconstruction (TRBR) research study will look at breast reconstruction during mastectomy procedures. There will be two arms in this study, a Treatment Arm, where data will be collected for a new medical device called the Tissue Reinforcement for Breast Reconstruction (TRBR) Device and a Control Arm where data will be collected from subjects who have previously had surgery and received no additional tissue reinforcement in their breast reconstruction surgery. This research study will look at the safety of the Study Device and the success of the participants breast reconstruction. The Study Device is investigational, which means it has not yet been used nor approved by the FDA for this treatment. This phase II trial tests the safety, side effects and effectiveness of epcoritamab and tazemetostat in treating patients with grade I-IIIa follicular lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Epcoritamab is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that binds to two different antigens on the surface of cancer cells that may help the body's immune system attack the cancer and may interfere with the ability of the cancer cells to grow and spread. Tazemetostat, a EZH2 inhibitor, may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving epcoritamab and tazemetostat may be safe, tolerable and/or effective in treating patients with relapsed or refractory grade I-IIIa follicular lymphoma. Read Less

This study aims to determine the feasibility of a shamanism intervention for patients with fibromyalgia, acquire efficacy data to determine if Shamanism reduces clinical pain and other common symptoms associated with fibromyalgia, and determine if the Shamanism intervention changes heart rate electrocardiogram (ECG), breathing rate, and brain wave electroencephalogram (EEG) outcomes in fibromyalgia patients and shamanic practitioners. The investigators hypothesize that 80% of individuals will complete at least 80% of study visits, clinical pain severity and/or interference will be significantly reduced following the Shamanic intervention, and lung, heart, and/or brain activity will be altered with the Shamanic intervention and also become more synchronized between Shamanic Practitioners (SPs) and patients during the course of treatment. The goal of this pilot trial is to learn if a novel non-hormonal treatment, metformin hydrochloride, works to treat pelvic pain in young women with endometriosis. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is metformin superior to placebo in alleviating pain symptoms in young women with endometriosis? * Does metformin alter systemic inflammatory markers over 6 months in young women with endometriosis? Researchers will compare metformin to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if metformin works to treat pelvic pain. Participants will: * Take drug metformin or a placebo every day for 6 months * Visit the clinic three times: once at baseline (pre-treatment), once at 3 months, and once at 6 months * Keep a daily symptom diary to track pain, bleeding, and usage of any pain medications Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a new contact lens device can record patterns in eye pressure for 24 hours in adults with glaucoma and in healthy participants. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is the contact lens device able to detect patterns in eye pressure that happens naturally between nighttime and daytime? * Are the contact lens recording patterns similar when repeated one week later? * What eye problems do participants have when wearing contact lens for up to 24 hours? Researchers will compare if the recordings detected by the contact lens over 24 hours are similar to the patterns measured by an eye pressure measuring instrument used in a doctor's office. Participants will * Wear contact lens in one eye for up to 24 hours * Take recordings in that eye with smartphone camera every 15 minutes when awake * For those participants who are able to stay overnight at a hotel for the trial, researchers will measure the eye pressure in the other eye every 1 to 2 hours when awake with an eye pressure measuring instrument. The goal of this study is to assess the short-term effects of minimal and moderate drinking on atrial fibrillation (AFib) episodes in a real-world population diagnosed with 'come-and-go'/paroxysmal AFib. The question it aims to answer is: Is there a greater occurrence of AFib episodes when participants are allowed to consume alcohol according to random assignment? Participants will: * Be given daily random assignments to avoid or not to avoid alcohol * Wear an adhesive electrocardiographic (ECG) heart monitor * Wear a wrist-worn fitness tracker * Wear an anklet transdermal alcohol monitor * Wear an adhesive glucose monitor * Complete morning and evening surveys daily Participants may be compensated up to $50 for full completion of the study. This is a single-site, single-arm, interventional study assessing the feasibility of the ARTCan Therapy Application (App) and whether it is an acceptable means of administering art therapy to young adult cancer survivors. The ARTCan Therapy App guides participants through a 6-week digital art therapy program. Subjects will participate in weekly art therapy prompts guided by the app and will complete weekly mental health quality of life (MHQoL) surveys during the intervention. In addition, baseline and end-of-intervention patient-reported outcome measures (PROMIS-DSF8a) and an acceptability survey will be administered. The hypothesis is that digital art therapy is feasible for young adult cancer survivors with self-reported mood issues and is an acceptable means of administering art therapy in the patient population. This study examines the role of alcohol use in understanding the dynamics of romantic relationships. Couples will participate in a research session where they consume either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage and complete study tasks. After the session, participants will provide information about their drinking habits, alcohol- and non-alcohol-related experiences, and relationship factors through brief surveys on their smart phones and again at 6-month and 12-month follow-up sessions. The findings from this study aim to improve understanding of alcohol use in close relationships and may inform future strategies for promoting healthier relationships and behaviors. Read Less
