Oxalate-Driven Host Responses in Kidney Stone Disease
Recruiting
This study is looking to understand the role of oxalate on kidney stone development and immunity. This study will enroll healthy participants and participants with calcium oxalate kidney stones (CaOx KS). Participants will be in this study for about 3 weeks, consume controlled diets, and provide blood and urine specimens.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for Spasticity in People With Spinal Cord Injury
Recruiting
People with spinal cord injury (SCI) experience a host of secondary complications that can impact their quality of life and functional independence. One of the more prevalent complications is spasticity, which occurs in response to spinal cord damage and the resulting disruption of motor pathways. Common symptoms include spasms and stiffness, and can occur more than once per hour in many people with SCI. Spasticity can have a negative impact over many quality of life domains, including loss of f... Read More

Oxytocin Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics
Recruiting
Oxytocin is the first-line drug to promote contraction of the uterus and prevent atony immediately after delivery. Nonetheless, unpredictable uterine atony refractory to oxytocin affects roughly 250,000 parturients annually in the U.S. and rates are increasing. This two-part study will measure the action of oxytocin at cesarean delivery. The first part will measure the pharmacokinetics of a single intravenous (IV) dose of deuterium-labeled oxytocin. The second part will measure the pharmacodynam... Read More

Doxycycline in Cutaneous Schwannoma (NF2)
Recruiting
In this research study the investigators want to learn more about an alternate, local treatment for skin schwannomas. Specifically, local doxycycline intra-tumoral injection will be performed as a potential treatment for NF2-related skin schwannomas, ultimately reducing the risks and costs associated with standard surgical removal of such skin tumors if successful.

Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation With Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2a for Primary and Secondary Myelofibrosis
Recruiting
This is a single site, open-label, dose de-escalation, Phase 1 study of pegylated interferon alfa-2a administered after alloHCT in subjects with primary or secondary myelofibrosis. Part 1 of the study will assess the rate of dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) during the DLT evaluation period and identify the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D). Once the RP2D is identified, 6 additional patients will be enrolled in the expansion cohort.

Study of Bevacizumab in Combination With Chemoimmunotherapy and Atezolizumab in Patients With Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer and Liver Metastases
Recruiting
This clinical trial aims to assess whether the addition of bevacizumab to atezolizumab and chemotherapy can improve response to treatment and progression-free survival in patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) with liver metastases. The main questions it aims to answer are: * In patients with ES-SCLC with liver metastases, can bevacizumab in combination with atezolizumab and chemotherapy prolong the length of time that the cancer does not progress? * Is bevacizumab safe... Focused Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for Knee Arthritis
Recruiting
Subchondral bone marrow lesions (BMLs) in knee osteoarthritis (OA) are strongly associated with presence and severity of knee pain, structural deterioration, disease progression with an increased risk of total knee arthroplasty. OA-related BMLs may regress or resolve within 30 months which could be associated with long lasting disability. It has been reported that BMLs persist in the majority of knee OA patients. Different treatment strategies have been proposed including rest and protected weig... Read More

A Trial Comparing Unrelated Donor BMT With IST for Pediatric and Young Adult Patients With Severe Aplastic Anemia (TransIT, BMT CTN 2202)
Recruiting
Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA) is a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells. SAA can be cured with immune suppressive therapy or a bone marrow transplant. Regular treatment for patients with aplastic anemia who have a matched sibling (brother or sister), or family donor is a bone marrow transplant. Patients without a matched family donor normally are treated with immune suppressive therapy (IST). Match unrelated donor (URD) bone marrow transplant (BMT) is used as a... Read More
