Dallas 2K: A Natural History Study of Depression
Recruiting
The primary objective of this initiative is to implement a prospective study that will allow us to identify and validate biosignatures of response to treatments for depression and depression outcome (using an integrated array of participant specific data: socio-demographic, lifestyle, clinical and behavioral assessments, fluid-based biomarkers, genomics, neuroimaging, EEG, and cell-based assays) in a longitudinal cohort of subjects with elevated symptoms of a depressive disorder. Symptom remiss... Read More

The Gut and Skin Microbiome in Vitiligo Disease Progression
Recruiting
Investigators plan to perform a pilot study that aims to characterize the microbiome of human vitiligo patients with both active and stable disease and compare this to the microbiome of age and sex matched controls. The investigators aim to answer the question whether the gut and skin microbiome of patients with vitiligo differs from the general population.

A Longitudinal Observational Study of Patients Undergoing Therapy for IMISC
Recruiting
TARGET-DERM is a longitudinal, observational study of adult and pediatric patients being managed for Atopic Dermatitis and other Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Skin Conditions (IMISC) in usual clinical practice. TARGET-DERM will create a research registry of patients with IMISC within academic and community real-world practices in order to assess the safety and effectiveness of current and future therapies.

The Role of Estrogen in the Neurobiology of Eating Disorders
Recruiting
This is a randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study of the effects of transdermal estradiol versus placebo on cognitive flexibility, reward processing, and eating disorder pathology in hypoestrogenemic female adolescents and young adults (ages 14-35 years) with an eating disorder characterized by extreme dietary restriction and/or excessive exercise. Subjects will be randomized 1:1 to 12 weeks of transdermal estradiol with cyclic progesterone or placebo patches and cyclic placebo pills.... Read More

Alveolar Macrophage Programming Following Endotoxin Exposure
Recruiting
The histologic hallmarks of lung inflammation include accumulation of inflammatory cells in the airspaces and interstitium, injury to alveolar epithelial and endothelial cells, loss of epithelial-capillary integrity and accumulation of edema fluid in the interstitium and airspaces. Accordingly, for alveolar repair to occur inflammation must be halted, debris and inflammatory cells removed, injured tissue cells replaced, and capillary barrier function re-established. Macrophages are key players i... Read More

Prospective Observational International Registry of Patients With Newly Diagnosed Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma.
Recruiting
This study T-Cell Project 2.0 is based on the former International PTCL study designed by the International T-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Study Group (T-Cell Project 1.0: Prospective Collection of Data in Patients With Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma) as a prospective collection of data to predict the prognosis of patients with the more frequent subtypes of PTCL. It is a prospective, longitudinal, international, observational study of patients with newly diagnosed peripheral T-cell lymphoma aiming to... Read More

Telemedicine Enhanced Asthma Management - Uniting Providers for Teens (TEAM-UP for Teens)
Recruiting
Low-income, minority teenagers have disproportionately high rates of asthma morbidity, including excess risk of emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and death from asthma. Despite well established guidelines, under-treatment for asthma is common, particularly for poor urban teens. This study aims to test a novel, developmentally appropriate and scalable model of care to ensure optimal guideline-based treatment for urban teens with difficult to control asthma. The Telemedicine Enhanced... Read More

Immunotherapy Before and After Surgery for Treatment of Recurrent or Progressive High Grade Glioma in Children and Young Adults
Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects of nivolumab before and after surgery in treating children and young adults with high grade glioma that has come back (recurrent) or is increasing in scope or severity (progressive). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
