The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) administration on motivational, subjective, and physiological effects of cigarettes. The study's goals are to test demand for cigarettes, tobacco craving, affect, heart rate, blood pressure, expired breath carbon monoxide, and cognitive performance. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if mindfulness meditation can improve outcomes in older adults with and without cognitive impairment. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. How does mindfulness impact thinking and memory? 2. How does mindfulness influence brain function and structure? 3. How does mindfulness affect daily function and quality of life? Researchers will compare all outcomes to one other groups. In one group, individuals will participate in a mindfulness class intervention; in the other group, individuals will not engage in any active interventions immediately, but will be placed on a waitlist for the mindfulness intervention. Researchers will compare all outcomes between the groups groups to determine whether the mindfulness interventions leads to greater improvement compared to no intervention (waitlist group). Participants will: * Be randomly assigned to participate in the mindfulness intervention, or no immediate intervention (waitlist) * Complete paper-and-pencil cognitive testing, surveys, computerized tasks, and neuroimaging measures (EEG and MRI) before and after the intervention Outcomes will be assess at baseline, 2 months, 4 months and 6 months. The strategic objective of this research line is to examine improving short- and long-term outcomes for soldiers following mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). The technical objectives are to: 1) conduct a Phase 1 quasi-experimental pragmatic trial testing the potential benefit of provider directed active rehabilitation therapies ("Active Rehab") in accelerating return of injured soldiers back to active duty and improving cognitive and functional limitations following mTBI, and 2) operationalize and disseminate a clinical active rehabilitation algorithm for use in military settings. The central hypothesis is that an active rehabilitation algorithm in the context of the progressive return to activity will improve clinical and functional outcomes, including time to return to duty. The Active Rehab intervention expands on progressive return to activity guidelines by providing activities that can be completed and progressed during Stage 1 of the progressive return to activity protocol, when the participant is at least 24 hours postinjury. Active Rehab includes an adaptive paradigm based on personal characteristics, symptom presentation, and duty requirements that integrate with current progressive return to activity guidelines. Activity progressions consider the initial presentation and changes in participant status during treatment, with the goal of safely accelerating recovery. This is a window-of-opportunity study which will evaluate the safety and feasibility of single-dose neoadjuvant Hepatic Artery (HA) chemotherapy (FUDR/oxaliplatin) in patients with localized pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) eligible for surgical resection and systemic chemotherapy. Current standard-of-care therapy for patients with localized PDAC includes surgical resection and six months of systemic chemotherapy. Because the sequence of these treatments (surgery and chemotherapy) is not well established, we will include both patients planned to undergo surgery before chemotherapy, as well as patients planned to receive systemic chemotherapy before surgery. This will allow us to test the safety and feasibility of adding single-dose neoadjuvant HA chemotherapy prior to surgery across the real-world treatment strategies employed in typical clinical practice. Moreover, the window-of-opportunity design is intended to make sure that all patients receive HA chemotherapy in addition to standard-of-care surgery and systemic chemotherapy, so as not to withhold the treatment approach currently associated with best outcomes. The primary endpoint is safety and feasibility, and patients will be followed for 30 days after resection of their primary tumors to assess these outcomes. Following the short-term follow-up period, patients move to long-term follow-up, which will occur every three months after resection of the primary tumor, for a period of up to three years. Occlusion Balloon catheter provides the ability to occlude the exit of the kidney pelvis during percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and potentially prevents the migration of stone fragments into the ureter. The necessity for it might be questioned during supine PCNL due to the upward oblique position of the kidney.
