Online Proton Adaptive Radiotherapy
Recruiting
This is a pilot study evaluating the feasibility of daily online adaptive planning for patients undergoing proton radiation therapy.
Patients undergoing proton radiation therapy normally undergo extensive pre-planning for their treatment. However, accounting for uncertainties in treatment delivery remains a challenge for a variety of reasons, such as differences in patient anatomy from pre-planning to the day of treatment. Online adaptive planning is a process consisting of generating the origi... Read More

A Randomized Comparison of Stage-Based Care Versus Risk Factor-Based Care for Prevention of Cardiovascular Events
Recruiting
TRANSFORM is a prospective, randomized, open blinded endpoint (PROBE), event-driven, pragmatic trial in patients who are at increased risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular (CV) disease but with no known symptomatic CV disease. The trial tests the hypothesis that a Cleerly Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) Staging System-based care strategy reduces CV events compared with risk factor-based care.

Testing the Role of DNA Released From Tumor Cells Into the Blood in Guiding the Use of Immunotherapy After Surgical Removal of the Bladder for Bladder Cancer Treatment, MODERN Study
Recruiting
This phase II/III trial examines whether patients who have undergone surgical removal of bladder, but require an additional treatment called immunotherapy to help prevent their bladder cancer from coming back, can be identified by a blood test. Many types of tumors tend to lose cells or release different types of cellular products including their DNA which is referred to as circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) into the bloodstream before changes can be seen on scans. Health care providers can measure t... Read More

A Study to Compare Darolutamide Given With Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) With ADT in Men With Hormone Sensitive Prostate Cancer and Raise of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Levels After Local Therapies
Recruiting
Researchers are looking for a better way to treat men at high-risk of biochemical recurrence (BCR) of prostate cancer.
BCR means that in men who had prostate cancer and were treated by either surgery and/ or radiation therapy, the blood level of a specific protein called PSA rises. PSA is a marker of prostate cancer cells activity. The PSA increase means that the cancer has come back even though conventional imaging such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and bo... Read More
