Mandibular Reconstruction Preplanning (ViPMR)
Recruiting
Virtual Surgical Planning (VSP), where 3D modeling is used to create 3D-printed surgical guides, has been shown to improve outcomes for patients who undergo mandibular reconstruction surgery, usually due to invasion of cancer from the oral cavity to the jaw. This trial will directly compare the outcomes of patients who receive VSP versus patients who receive the current standard of care, which is Free-Hand Surgery (FHS). They will be randomized into either treatment at a 1:1 ratio and bony union... Read More

Staged Complete Revascularization for Coronary Artery Disease vs Medical Management Alone in Patients With AS Undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
Recruiting
Patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) often have concomitant coronary artery disease (CAD) which may adversely affect prognosis. There is uncertainty about the benefits and the optimal timing of revascularization for such patients. There is currently clinical equipoise regarding the management of concomitant CAD in patients undergoing TAVR. Some centers perform routine revascularization with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) (either before or after TAVR), while... Read More

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Effect of AVB-101, a Gene Therapy Product, in Subjects With a Genetic Sub-type of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD-GRN)
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical study is to learn about an investigational gene therapy product called AVB-101, which is designed to treat a disease called Frontotemporal Dementia with Progranulin Mutations (FTD-GRN). FTD-GRN is an early-onset form of dementia, a progressive brain disorder that affects behavior, language and movement. These symptoms result from below normal levels of a protein called progranulin (PGRN) in the brain, which leads to the death of nerve cells (neurons), affecting the brai... Read More

A Study to Examine the Efficacy and Safety of Zanubrutinib Given to Adults With Primary Membranous Nephropathy
Recruiting
The primary objectives of this study are: In Part 1 to evaluate the efficacy of zanubrutinib as measured by proteinuria reduction, and in Part 2 to evaluate the efficacy of zanubrutinib compared with tacrolimus as measured by complete remission rate, in participants with primary membranous nephropathy (PMN) who are on optimal supportive care.

A Study to Investigate the Effect of Lepodisiran on the Reduction of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Adults With Elevated Lipoprotein(a) - ACCLAIM-Lp(a)
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of lepodisiran in reducing cardiovascular risk in participants with high lipoprotein(a) who have cardiovascular disease or are at risk of a heart attack or stroke. The study drug will be administered subcutaneously (SC) (under the skin). Approximately 1700 additional participants will be enrolled in an addendum to explore Lp(a) lowering with an alternative dosing schema.

A Study of Oral Atogepant Tablets to Assess Adverse Events and Change in Disease Activity To Prevent Migraine in Participants Aged 12 to 17 Years
Recruiting
Migraine is a disease that most often causes moderate to severe headache on one side of the head. A migraine attack is a headache that may be accompanied by throbbing, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, or other symptoms. The goals of the study are to evaluate adverse events and how well treatment of atogepant works compared to placebo (looks like the study treatment but contains no medicine) in preventing chronic migraine in participants between 12 and 17 years of age. Atogepant... Read More

RIC-NEC Randomized Controlled Trial
Recruiting
Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a serious intestinal disease of preterm and term neonates which remains a major cause of intestinal failure, and an unsolved clinical challenge in pediatrics. While overall mortality of preterm infants continues to decrease due to improvements in general neonatal care, mortality caused by NEC remains high (up to 30-50%) and survivors suffer from reduced quality of life, and long-term disabilities such as debilitating complications of intestinal failure, poor gr... A Treatment Effectiveness Study Among SLE Patients Receiving Anifrolumab in Routine Clinical Practice
Recruiting
Anifrolumab Study of Treatment Effectiveness in the Real World (ASTER) study will collect real world data to obtain a good understanding of the (sustained) clinical effect and patient quality of life outcomes among diagnosed SLE patients who initiate anifrolumab treatment. ASTER will generate critical real-world evidence on the benefits of adding anifrolumab to standard of care treatment for SLE in routine clinical practice, to inform physicians, payers and patients.
