The primary purpose of this study is to measure the effect of different daily doses of AZD0780 on Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) levels compared with placebo in participants with dyslipidemia. The effect of AZD0780 versus placebo on other lipid parameters and inflammatory markers is also investigated. The concentration of AZD0780 in blood at specific timepoints is measured, and the safety and tolerability of AZD0780 will be evaluated. There is a follow-up after end of treatment, but expanded access is not available. The primary hypothesis is that at least one of the investigated doses of AZD0780 is superior to placebo in lowering LDL-C level, in percent change from baseline up to week 12. Read Less

Researchers are looking for a better way to treat women who have sleep disturbances associated with menopause. Menopause is part of a natural aging process and happens when women's menstrual cycles, also called periods, stop. Sleep disturbances, for example, frequent waking up at night, are a common and bothersome symptom associated with menopause that affects women's quality of life. The study treatment Elinzanetant (also called BAY 3427080) is under development to treat symptoms like hot flashes which are caused by hormonal changes associated with menopause. It may block the activity of a protein that has been found to contribute to sleep disturbances. The main purpose of this study is to learn how does elinzanetant affect sleep disturbances associated with menopause as measured on a sleep test called polysomnography (PSG) as compared with placebo. For this, the researchers will analyze change in the total number of minutes a participant wakes up at night after going to sleep after 4 weeks of treatment compared to before treatment change in the total number of minutes a participant wakes up at night after going to sleep after 12 weeks of treatment compared to before treatment change in the participant's total time asleep while in bed after 4 and 12 weeks of treatment compared to before treatment. The study participants will be randomly (by chance) assigned to one of two treatment groups. Dependent on the group, they will take elinzanetant or placebo for 12 weeks. Each participant will be in the study for approximately 22 weeks (plus potential washout period), including a screening phase of up to 6 weeks, 12 weeks of treatment, and a follow up phase of 4 weeks after the end of treatment. 5 visits to the study site are planned. The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine ritlecitinib for the possible treatment of nonsegmental vitiligo. Vitiligo causes white patches on your skin when the cells that give your skin color are destroyed. Nonsegmental means that it can affect both sides of the body such as both knees and both hands. Ritlecitinib has been tested in earlier clinical studies and has a favorable safety profile. At present there are no approved medications taken by mouth to treat nonsegmental vitiligo. This study is seeking participants who: Are 18 years of age or older. are confirmed to have nonsegmental vitiligo for at least 3 months. Are willing to stop all other treatments that they may be taking for vitiligo. In this study participants will be chosen by chance, like drawing names out of a hat to receive 1 of 3 treatments: •Part I where two different amounts of ritlecitinib (50 mg and 100 mg) are taken once daily. It will be compared to placebo. Placebo is a dummy capsule. It doesn't have any medicine used in the study. Participants receiving placebo who have not responded to treatment after 52 weeks will be given 100 milligrams or 50 milligrams of ritlecitinib for the remaining 52 weeks of the study. • In Part II, participants will only receive 100 milligrams of ritlecitinib. About 1000 participants will take part in Part I and around 450 in Part II globally. The study will compare the experiences of people receiving ritlecitinib to those of the people who do not. This will help see if ritlecitinib is safe and effective. People in Part I will be in this study for about 26 months and people in Part II will be in this study for about 14 months. During the study, participants in part I will need to visit the study site at least 17 times. In part II, participants will visit at least 11 times. Participants will undergo various tests and procedures such as: vitiligo rating, physical examinations, hearing tests, blood tests, x-ray, ECG, photographs of areas with vitiligo. The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient.
