The primary purpose of this study is to measure the effect of different daily doses of AZD0780 on Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) levels compared with placebo in participants with dyslipidemia. The effect of AZD0780 versus placebo on other lipid parameters and inflammatory markers is also investigated. The concentration of AZD0780 in blood at specific timepoints is measured, and the safety and tolerability of AZD0780 will be evaluated. There is a follow-up after end of treatment, but expanded access is not available. The primary hypothesis is that at least one of the investigated doses of AZD0780 is superior to placebo in lowering LDL-C level, in percent change from baseline up to week 12. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine ritlecitinib for the possible treatment of nonsegmental vitiligo. Vitiligo causes white patches on your skin when the cells that give your skin color are destroyed. Nonsegmental means that it can affect both sides of the body such as both knees and both hands. Ritlecitinib has been tested in earlier clinical studies and has a favorable safety profile. At present there are no approved medications taken by mouth to treat nonsegmental vitiligo. This study is seeking participants who: Are 18 years of age or older. are confirmed to have nonsegmental vitiligo for at least 3 months. Are willing to stop all other treatments that they may be taking for vitiligo. In this study participants will be chosen by chance, like drawing names out of a hat to receive 1 of 3 treatments: •Part I where two different amounts of ritlecitinib (50 mg and 100 mg) are taken once daily. It will be compared to placebo. Placebo is a dummy capsule. It doesn't have any medicine used in the study. Participants receiving placebo who have not responded to treatment after 52 weeks will be given 100 milligrams or 50 milligrams of ritlecitinib for the remaining 52 weeks of the study. • In Part II, participants will only receive 100 milligrams of ritlecitinib. About 1000 participants will take part in Part I and around 450 in Part II globally. The study will compare the experiences of people receiving ritlecitinib to those of the people who do not. This will help see if ritlecitinib is safe and effective. People in Part I will be in this study for about 26 months and people in Part II will be in this study for about 14 months. During the study, participants in part I will need to visit the study site at least 17 times. In part II, participants will visit at least 11 times. Participants will undergo various tests and procedures such as: vitiligo rating, physical examinations, hearing tests, blood tests, x-ray, ECG, photographs of areas with vitiligo. The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. The study will be done in participants who have type 2 diabetes. Participants will take the study medicine together with the current diabetes medicine (metformin with or without an SGLT2 inhibitor). To be eligible for the trial, subjects must have ongoing moderate to severe neuropathic pain related to a prior course of platinum and/or taxane chemotherapy and have no clinical evidence of actively progressive disease. The trial period will comprise a Screening period (up to 35 Days), randomization and a 4-day treatment period, followed by a 12-week follow up period (12 weeks total after initial treatment), and an End-of-Trial/Follow-up visit which will occur at Week 13. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive, irreversible neurological disorder and is the most common cause of dementia in the elderly population. Clinical symptoms of the disease may begin with occasional forgetfulness such as misplacement of items, forgetting important dates or events, and may progress to noticeable memory loss, increased confusion and agitation, and eventually, loss of independence and non-responsiveness. This study will assess how safe and effective ABBV-916 is in treating early AD. Adverse events, change in disease activity, and how ABBV-916 moves through body of participants will be assessed. ABBV-916 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of early AD. This study is conducted in 2 stages. Stage A is a multiple ascending dose study. There is a 1 in 4 chance that participants are assigned to receive placebo. Stage B is a proof-of-concept study. In Stage B, there is a 1 in 5 chance that participants will be assigned to receive placebo. The first 6 months of this study are "double-blind," which means that neither the trial participant nor the study doctors know which treatments will be given. This will be followed by a 2-year extension period in which all participants will receive ABBV-916. Approximately 195 participants aged 50-90 years will be enrolled in about 90 sites across the world. Participants will receive intravenous (IV) doses of ABBV-916 or placebo once every 4 weeks (Q4W) for 24 weeks and will be followed for an additional 16 weeks. Participants will have the option of participating in a 2-year, open-label, Extension Period receiving IV ABBV-916. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic.
