Parent-focused Redesign for Encounters, Newborns to Toddlers (PARENT) is a team-based approach to care that utilizes a community health worker in a health educator role ("Parent's Coach") to provide many of the Well-Child Care (WCC) services that children and families should receive, addresses specific needs faced by families in low-income communities, and decreases reliance on the clinician as the primary provider of WCC services. The model was developed in partnership with clinics and parents in low-income communities and previously tested among largely Latino, Medicaid-insured populations. The aims of this study are to (1) Adapt the PARENT intervention to meet the needs of a diverse, largely Black population of underserved families, (2) Determine the effect of adapted PARENT on receipt of nationally recommended preventive care services, emergency department utilization, and parent experiences of care, (3) Determine whether the effectiveness of adapted PARENT differs by family-level factors, and (4) Explore parents' experiences in receiving adapted PARENT. The goal of this project is to identify neonates who are predisposed to Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). the investigators will determine the effectiveness of non-invasive measures as well as biochemical markers to identify neonates early in the disease process. Thus, the investigators aim to identify infants with NEC prior to the onset of symptoms to institute or test treatments in the long term to prevent the progression of the disease in these infants. Prospective evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of the MISHA Knee System. The study will collect data on the procedural and long-term adverse events, WOMAC pain and function scores, KSS satisfaction, subsequent surgical interventions, BMI levels, range of motion, UCLA activity level of the subjects, and perform radiographic/x-ray evaluations at clinical visits through 5 years post-procedure. The primary analysis of this study is freedom from device- and procedure-related SSIs at five (5) years post-implantation. This study will also assess device performance in subjects with intact and retained devices and subjects with devices removed prior to study termination and freedom from conversion to arthroplasty through 5 years. This phase Ib trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of SNDX-5613 when given in combination with the standard chemotherapy treatment (daunorubicin and cytarabine) in treating patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia that has changes in the NPM1 gene or MLL/KMT2A gene. SNDX-5613 blocks signals passed from one molecule to another inside cancer cells that are needed for cancer cell survival. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as daunorubicin and cytarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Adding SNDX-5613 to the standard chemotherapy treatment may be able to shrink or stabilize the cancer for longer than the standard chemotherapy treatment alone. Read Less

This phase I/II trial studies the best dose of ruxolitinib when given together with CPX-351 and to see how well they work in treating patients with accelerated phase or blast phase myeloproliferative neoplasm. Ruxolitinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. CPX-351 is a mixture of 2 chemotherapy drugs (daunorubicin and cytarabine) given for leukemia in small fat-based particles (liposomes) to improve the drug getting into cancer cells. Giving ruxolitinib and CPX-351 may work better in treating patients with secondary acute myeloid leukemia compared to CPX-351 alone. Read Less

This phase II trial tests how well canakinumab works to prevent progression to cancer in patients with clonal cytopenias of unknown significance (CCUS). CCUS is a blood condition defined by a decrease in blood cells. Blood cells are composed of either red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets. In patients with CCUS, blood counts have been low for a long period of time. Patients with CCUS also have a mutation in one of the genes that are responsible for helping blood cells develop. The combination of genetic mutations and low blood cell counts puts patients with CCUS at a higher risk to develop blood cancers in the future. This transformation from low blood cell counts to cancer may be caused by inflammation in the body. Canakinumab is a monoclonal antibody that may block inflammation in the body by targeting a specific antibody called the anti-human interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta). Read Less

The goal of this study is to examine the impact of a caregiver-implemented shared reading program, Sit Together and Read (STAR), on children ages 4 to 5 with developmental language disorder. The main questions it aims to answer are: how much STAR impacts children's literacy skills in the short-term and long-term--up to two-years after completing STAR. how do caregiver supports in the form of small monetary rewards or encouraging texts help caregivers to implement STAR at its intended frequency of sessions per week. Caregiver participants will be assigned to either a control group or one of three STAR groups. Children's skills related to literacy and learning will be assessed before the intervention starts, at the end of the intervention, and every six months post-intervention for two years. Researchers will determine the short term and long term impacts of STAR compared to the control group. Researchers will compare the three STAR conditions to see if the rewards or encouragement helped parents to follow through with completing more STAR sessions. Read Less
