The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about how study medicine (Paxlovid, which contains nirmatrelvir and ritonavir) is changed and eliminated from the body, as well as its safety, and the extent to which side effects can be tolerated for treatment of pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19 compared to non-pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19. This study is seeking participants who: are expecting a healthy baby and are in their second or third trimester pregnancy and have mild or moderate COVID-19 are not pregnant and have mild or moderate COVID-19. All participants in this study will take Paxlovid by mouth every 12 hours for 5 days. We will study the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help us decide if the study medicine is safe. All participants will take part in this study for at least 34 days; pregnant participants will take part until their delivery, so that the study duration may be up to 6 months, depending on their delivery date. During this time, participants will have 7to 8 visits and, if pregnant, a visit at delivery. Around 2 to 3 visits and the delivery visit will be done in person (at the clinic or at the participant's home). The other 5 visits may be done over the phone, unless in-person visit is necessary as decided by the doctor. This study evaluates immunologic response following COVID-19 vaccination in children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer. Vaccines work by stimulating the body's immune cells to respond against a specific disease. The immune response produces protection from that disease. Effects from cancer and from treatments for cancer can reduce the body's natural disease fighting ability (called immunity). Factors such as vaccine type, timing of vaccine dosing related to treatment for cancer and number of vaccine doses or "boosts" (extra vaccine shots) may strengthen or diminish the body's protective immune response. This study may help researchers learn more about how the body's immune system responds to the COVID-19 vaccine when the vaccination is given during or after cancer treatment. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to understand the safety and effects of a combined influenza and COVID-19 vaccine. This combined vaccine is compared to separate vaccines for the protection against influenza and SARS-CoV-2. Influenza and COVID-19 are diseases that can spread easily from one person to another and cause body aches, fever, cough, and other symptoms. Giving both influenza and COVID-19 vaccines together against influenza and SARS-CoV-2 could provide great benefits to both patients and caregivers in terms of simple and easy care. Around 9000 participants will be assigned into 1 of 4 vaccination groups (Group A, B, C or D) by chance. Cohort 1: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group A:Influenza and COVID-19 combination A vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo (an injection consisting of just salt water and no medicines in it) in the left arm. Group B: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time to the right arm and licensed influenza vaccine in the left arm. Cohort 2: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group C: Influenza and COVID-19 combination B vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo in the left arm. Group D: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and licenced influenza vaccine in the left arm. All participants will receive 2 injections as per their assigned study group at Visit 1. The participants will be followed for about 6 months. During this time, the study will compare participant experiences when they receive a combined vaccination to when they receive separate vaccinations. The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety, extent of the side effects, and immune responses of the study vaccine (called variant-adapted BNT162b2 RNA-based vaccine) in healthy children. The trial is divided into 5 individual studies or substudies based on age group and prior history of COVID-19 vaccinations. All participants in each of the 5 sub-studies will receive study vaccine as a shot depending on what group they are in. Substudy A design: Phase 1 includes participants 6 months through less than 4 years 3 months of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naïve) and will receive 3 doses of study vaccine as their initial series, followed by a fourth dose of study vaccine. Phase 2/3 includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naive) and will receive 1, 2, or 3 doses of study vaccine, depending on what group they are in. Substudy B design: includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have either received 2 or 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their third or fourth dose. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of repurposed medications (study drug(s) in reducing symptoms of non-hospitalized participants with mild to moderate COVID-19. Participants will receive either study drug or placebo. Participants will self-report any new or worsening symptoms or medical events experienced while taking study drug or placebo. This study is intended to be all remote with no in person visits, unless the study team feels it is in the best interest of a participant to be seen in person.
