This study is in one single group of participants with advanced solid tumors who have not been cured by other treatments. It is the first time the drug will be used in humans, and will be in two parts. The primary purpose of the parts are: Dose Escalation Part: To evaluate the safety and tolerability and to determine the maximum tolerated dose and the recommended dose for expansion of ifinatamab deruxtecan (I-DXd). Dose Expansion Part: To investigate the safety, tolerability and antitumor activity of I-DXd when administered as a single agent. This study is expected to last approximately 5 years from the time the first participant is enrolled to the time the last participant is off the study. The number of treatment cycles is not fixed in this study. The overarching objective of this project is to develop a pan-gynecologic cancer detection test using gynecologic (unique endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer) cancer-specific methylated DNA markers and high-risk human papilloma virus (HR-HPV) detected in vaginal fluid and/or plasma. This proposal defines Phase II MDM-based cancer detection studies in endometrial cancer (EC) and endometrial hyperplasia with atypia (AEH) in tampon-collected vaginal fluid and 2) ovarian cancer (OC) in plasma and tampon-collected vaginal fluid. This phase III trial studies how well atezolizumab added to the usual radiation therapy works in treating patients with stage I-IIA non-small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radiation therapy, such as stereotactic body radiation therapy, uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. This method can kill tumor cells with fewer doses over a shorter period and cause less damage to normal tissue. Giving atezolizumab and radiation therapy may work better than radiation therapy alone in treating patients with early non-small cell lung cancer. Read Less

This is a randomized, active-controlled, double-blind clinical study designed to evaluate the antiretroviral activity, safety, and tolerability of doravirine/islatravir (DOR/ISL [MK-8591A]) in treatment-naïve participants with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. This study is a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled trial of an interventional strategy using the ClotTriever System to achieve and maintain vessel patency (ClotTriever Intervention Arm) versus conservative medical management using anticoagulation therapy alone (Conservative Medical Management Arm) in the treatment of subjects with symptomatic unilateral iliofemoral DVT. This study is open to adults who are at least 18 years old and have a body mass index (BMI)bof 27 kg/m2 or more. People can take part if they have cardiovascular or chronic kidney disease. People who have at least 2 health problems related to their weight or risks of cardiovascular disease can participate. Participants must have previously tried to lose weight by changing their diet. The purpose of this study is to find out whether people with overweight or obesity who take a medicine called survodutide (BI 456906) are less or more likely to develop serious cardiovascular problems. It also aims to find out whether health parameters like blood pressure improve. Overweight and obesity are linked to cardiovascular disease. Survodutide is a medicine that is developed to help people with obesity or overweight to lose weight. Participants are divided into 3 groups of almost equal size. 2 groups get different doses of survodutide and 1 group gets placebo. Placebo looks like survodutide but does not contain any medicine. Every participant has a 2 in 3 chance of getting survodutide. Participants inject survodutide or placebo under the skin once a week. All participants also receive counselling on diet and physical activity. Participants are in the study for up to 2 years and 3 months. During this time, it is planned that participants visit the study site up to 21 times and attend remote visits by video calls. During these visits, the doctors check participants' cardiovascular and overall health. The results are compared between survodutide and placebo groups. The purpose of this extension study is to collect long-term efficacy, safety and tolerability data on remibrutinib in a selected group of participants with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) who previously completed the treatment phase of remibrutinib preceding Phase 3 studies. Semaglutide is a medicine studied in patients with NASH. Semaglutide is a well-known medicine, which is already used by doctors to treat type 2 diabetes in many countries. Participants will either get semaglutide or a dummy medicine - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants will need to inject themselves with medicine under the skin. Participants will need to do this once a week. The study will last for about 5 years. Participants will have up to 21 clinic visits and 9 phone calls with the clinical staff during the study. Some of the clinic visits may be spread over more than one day. Participants with other chronic liver diseases cannot take part in this study. Women cannot take part in the study if they are pregnant, breast-feeding or plan to become pregnant during the study period. Read Less
