The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to learn if a combination of hot and cold EMR technique is associated with a lower risk of polyp recurrence without increasing the risk of complication when removing large polyps. This screening and multi-sub-study randomized phase II/III trial will establish a method for genomic screening of similar large cancer populations followed by assigning and accruing simultaneously to a multi-sub-study hybrid Master Protocol (Lung-MAP). The type of cancer trait (biomarker) will determine to which sub-study, within this protocol, a participant will be assigned to compare new targeted cancer therapy, designed to block the growth and spread of cancer, or combinations to standard of care therapy with the ultimate goal of being able to approve new targeted therapies in this setting. To assess whether holding incretin-based therapy before endoscopy reduces the likelihood of clinically relevant Residual Gastric Volume (RGV). Primary Outcomes: * Residual gastric volume that precludes adequate endoscopic examination * Residual gastric volume that necessitates premature termination of the endoscopy procedure * Need for endotracheal intubation due to stomach contents. * Occurrence of aspiration events requiring extended observation/monitoring, unplanned therapeutics, and/or hospital admission Secondary Outcomes: * Presence of any solid food * Presence of moderate liquid content * Increased RGV(Residual Gastric Volume) defined as any amount of solid content or \> 0.8 mL/Kg of fluid content (measured from the aspiration/suction canister). * Differences in primary and secondary outcomes between different medications Read Less

This large real-world international prospective registry will provide a unique opportunity to comprehensively understand the contemporary management, clinical course and short as well as long-term outcomes of all Cardiogenic Shock (CS) patients cared for at four high volume dedicated shock care centers. As the first true North American multicenter CS collaborative with a uniform dedicated and comprehensive case report form, the high patient volumes and wide spectrum of clinical acuity seen at these institutions will provide valuable insight into the factors associated with adverse outcomes; and will serve as a blueprint for future clinical trial designs that may better inform clinical practice. Prospective, controlled, multicenter clinical investigation with four trial cohorts: Randomized, Non-repairable, Severe Mitral Annular Calcification (MAC) and Severe Mitral Annular Calcification Continued Access Protocol (MAC CAP). Subjects in the Randomized cohort will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to the trial device or to the MitraClip system. Subjects in the Non-repairable, Severe MAC, and Severe MAC CAP cohorts will receive the trial device. The objective of the Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Safety and Effectiveness of Using the Tendyne Transcatheter Mitral Valve System for the Treatment of Symptomatic Mitral Regurgitation (SUMMIT) is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Tendyne Transcatheter Mitral Valve System for the treatment of patients with symptomatic, moderate-to-severe or severe mitral regurgitation or for patients with symptomatic mitral valve disease due to severe mitral annular calcification. This randomized controlled trial will provide the opportunity to evaluate the safety and clinical benefits of the Tendyne Transcatheter Mitral Valve System compared to the MitraClip System in patients with symptomatic, moderate-to-severe or severe mitral regurgitation, within approved MitraClip indications. In addition, the safety and effectiveness of the Tendyne Transcatheter Mitral Valve System will be evaluated in patients with severe mitral annular calcification who are at prohibitive risk for mitral valve surgery. Patients who are not suitable for mitral valve surgery for reasons other than severe mitral annular calcification and are also not suitable for transcatheter repair with MitraClip, will be enrolled in the Non-repairable cohort. The COPE-AKI study is a randomized, pragmatic, parallel-arm trial comparing a multimodal intervention to usual care on hospital-free days through 90 days of study follow up. The primary study hypothesis is that patients randomized to the intervention will have increased odds of more hospital-free days through 90 days (primary clinical) compared to those randomized to usual care. Key secondary hypotheses will investigate the impact of the intervention on rates of major adverse kidney events, rates of recurrent AKI, and changes in patient-reported outcomes. Participants (N=2145) will be allocated 1:1 to the intervention or usual care using a web-based system to maintain allocation concealment using stratified randomization with randomly permuted blocks. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the use of virtual reality during chemotherapy treatment helps participants achieve an improvement in distress, which may include unpleasant experience, anxiety, depression and/or pain. Participants will: * Be randomly assigned to one of two available groups (virtual reality or standard of care) * Participations will only be during one chemotherapy session. * Those assigned to virtual reality: * The research team will provide a virtual reality * The research team will provide guidance on how the headset works and will be available to assist with any questions or concerns. * Participants will also be able to choose different relaxing backgrounds depending on their preference. headset during the chemotherapy session for 15 to 30 minutes * Those assigned to the standard of care: * The research team will provide the participants with the opportunity to choose a preferred activity such as reading a book, watching television, etc. Read Less
