Researchers leading this study hope to learn about the safety of combining the study drug relugolix with another study drug called itraconazole or ritonavir in prostate cancer. This study is for individuals who have advanced prostate cancer and plans to have medical castration (the use of medications or chemicals to lower hormone production in the testicles). Your participation in this research will last up to 1 month. The purpose of this research is to gather information on the safety and effectiveness of relugolix in combination with ritonavir or itraconazole. The goal of this research is to find out if combining two medications (relugolix and itraconazole or relugolix and ritonavir) could possibly lead to using less relugolix, which is an expensive drug. This is a multicenter, randomized, open-label study of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) at 150 kHz to the thorax using the NovoTTF-200T System with IV pembrolizumab in subjects previously untreated for advanced or metastatic, PD-L1 positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The primary objective is to evaluate the progression-free survival (PFS) by RECIST 1.1 in subjects with TPS ≥1 percent, 1L metastatic/current advanced NSCLC treated with TTFields concomitant with pembrolizumab compared to those treated with pembrolizumab alone. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the response rate of patients with recurrent platinum resistant ovarian cancer when treated with oral minoxidil. Secondary objectives include estimating the time to disease progression while on minoxidil and to describe the toxicities of minoxidil when used for patients with recurrent platinum resistant ovarian cancer. This is a randomized control trial aimed to decreased radiation-induced vaginal stenosis in patients with endometrial or cervical cancer treated with post-operative external beam radiation therapy with or without brachytherapy. The intervention is an enhanced vaginal dilator model, including a silicone band placed at the desired depth of dilator insertion. The new model will be compared against the traditional vaginal dilator model used as our institutional standard of care. This clinical trial evaluates whether positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET-MRI) using the radioactive drug radiohybrid prostate-specific membrane antigen (rhPSMA)-7.3 may help in detecting higher grade or stage disease in men with low and favorable intermediate risk prostate cancer who are candidates for active surveillance. A PET scan is a test that uses a radioactive drug and a computer to create images of how organs and tissues in the body are functioning. The radioactive drug used in this study, rhPSMA-7.3, attaches to the abnormal cells in the body at a different rate than normal cells which allows the scanner to create a detailed picture of how the body is working. An MRI scan uses strong magnets and computers to create detailed images of the soft tissue in your body. A multiparametric (mp)MRI is a type of MRI scan that creates a more detailed picture of the prostate gland. Using rhPSMA-73 with PET-MRI and mpMRI may be more effective in detecting higher grade or stage disease in men with low and favorable intermediate risk prostate cancer. Read Less

HCC resection candidates with inadequate future liver remnant will be enrolled in this study. They will be treated with Y90 radioembolization to help grow the liver enough to undergo liver resection. There will be 2 Patient Groups. The first group of patients will be treated with Y90 dose and embolic load as per standard-of-care. Tranexamic acid (TxA) is a drug that was approved by the FDA in 1986. It is an antifibrinolytic drug - this means that it is used to promote blood clotting by preventing the breakdown of blood clots that the participant's body naturally forms. TxA is very commonly used to control bleeding in a variety of surgeries, such as orthopedic and gynecologic procedures, and is available in both the injectable (delivering the drug through the veins) and oral forms. However, its use is still not commonplace in the setting of elective breast surgery, because it hasn't been extensively studied in this field. Because it is not currently FDA-approved for use in elective breast surgery, this would make the drug "investigational" for this study. Because of its current use in other fields, TxA seems to have a great deal of potential in reducing the amount of post-operative time that breast drains need to be kept in place, the frequency of adverse events during wound healing such as bleeding and fluid accumulation, and overall fluid drainage amount. This would serve to improve the overall process of post-operative healing following a mastectomy procedure. Currently, the use of TxA is approved through the injectable route at Northwestern, but it is not approved for administration by the topical route. Previous studies have shown that TxA given through the topical route of administration in breast reduction surgery reduced post-surgical drainage and fluid accumulation. In this study, the use of 3% (3 grams of TxA in 100 ml of saline) TxA through the topical route by applying it to the breast wound of one breast as a direct fluid irrigation will be investigated. This will be done as a fluid wash, where the TxA will be in a syringe, and just before wound closure the TxA will be sprayed onto the wound site. The other breast will undergo the same procedure, but will receive normal saline solution instead of TxA. The procedure of interest here is a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy, which is a mastectomy that is performed to prevent the occurrence of breast cancer. The purpose of this study is to test whether applying TxA topically during wound closure in mastectomy procedures will affect the quantity of fluid accumulation and bleeding, and the amount of time that post-operative drains need to be kept in place.
