Microfragmented Adipose Tissue Compared to Corticosteroid Injection for the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effect of a single autologous, intra-articular injection of MFat versus corticosteroid injection for the treatment of pain and function associated with K/L grade 2/3 knee Osteoarthritis. Participants will receive an injection of MFat or a corticosteroid.

Comparing Platelet Rich Plasma and Corticosteroid for Military & Civilian Patients With Glenohumeral Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
Shoulder arthroplasty provides successful improvement in pain and function for the treatment of end stage osteoarthritis (OA) of the shoulder in the older patient population (Sanchez 2008, Sampson 2010, Kon 2012, Fitzpatrick 2017). However, the optimal non-operative treatment for shoulder OA in the young active duty and civilian populations has yet to be determined. Although corticosteroid injections (CSI) are a viable option with diagnostic and short-term therapeutic benefit in glenohumeral OA,... Read More

Innovations in Genicular Outcomes Registry
Recruiting
The registry will capture prospective data on patients receiving pain management for chronic pain due to knee osteoarthritis (OA) or pain optimization for knee arthroplasty due to knee OA. The OA pain therapies may include cryo nerve block, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), intra-articular (IA) corticosteroids, viscosupplementation, opioids, and others (e.g., non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs [NSAIDs]).

Post Approval Study2: Hintermann Series H3 Total Ankle Replacement System
Recruiting
The H3 TAR Prosthesis was approved by FDA (P160036) on June 4, 2019. Continued approval of the premarket approval application (PMA) is contingent upon the submission of periodic reports (Annual Report), required under 21 CFR 814.84. In order to provide continued reasonable assurance of the safety and effectiveness of the PMA device, data from this post-approval study must be submitted to FDA in a PMA Post-Approval Study Report per the requirements set forth in the approval.

The Pericapsular Nerve Block in Total Hip Arthroplasty
Recruiting
In order to continue progressing towards outpatient total hip arthroplasty (THA), methods to adequately manage postoperative pain is of paramount importance. The purpose of this study is to quantify the effectiveness of the pericapsular nerve block in total hip arthroplasty in comparison to the fascia iliaca nerve block.

Prospective Functional, Gait, and Outcome Comparison Study of Medial Pivot Versus Single Radius Design for Total Knee Arthroplasty
Recruiting
Patients with degenerative joint disease can effectively be treated with a primary total knee replacement to reduce pain and improve function in their daily lives. Theoretically, achievement of normal knee motion using a medial pivot design in total knee replacements can be recreated in comparison to single radius designs, which could lead to an improvement in post-surgical outcomes and satisfaction with the procedure. The aim of this study is to compare two types of implant designs (medial pivo... Read More

A Comparison of PRP Treatment to the IA vs. IA and EA Environments in Patients Diagnosed With Hip Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of one leukocyte-poor platelet-rich plasma (LP-PRP) injection to the intra-articular (IA) space in comparison to one LP-PRP injection to the IA space with an additional injection into the surrounding extra-articular (EA) structures for the treatment of hip OA (Kellgren Lawrence Grades 1-3). Our hypothesis is that patients receiving both IA and EA LP-PRP injections will have equivalent improvements on HOOS JR and VAS scores over a 12-month per... Read More
