This study compares insulin icodec, a new insulin taken once a week, to insulin glargine, an insulin taken once a day. The study medicine will be investigated in participants with type 2 diabetes. Participants will either get insulin icodec or insulin glargine. Which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Insulin icodec is the new medicine being tested, while insulin glargine is already approved and can be prescribed by doctors. Participants will get one injection of insulin icodec once a week, or one injection of insulin glargine once a day, depending on the treatment group participants are assigned into. Participants will use a pen with a small needle to inject the medicine under participants skin into participants thigh, upper arm or stomach.The study will last for about 9 months, but participants will only be taking the study medicine for 6 months. The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. This is a multi-center, prospective, non-interventional study that focuses on the long- term effects following participation in selected ITN new-onset Type1 Diabetes Mellitus studies with immunomodulatory agents (T1DM, T1D). This observational study will: follow participants to determine how long they continue to produce insulin, and will also assess how changes in the immune system over time relate to the ability to produce insulin. Doctors may not yet prescribe CagriSema. CagriSema will be compared to a medicine called tirzepatide that doctors may prescribe in some countries. Participants will get either CagriSema or tirzepatide. Which treatment participant get is decided by chance like flipping a coin. Participant will have an equal chance of receiving either drug. The Revita® system is being investigated to assess the efficacy of DMR versus Sham on improvement in Glycemic, Hepatic and Cardiovascular endpoints for patients with Type 2 Diabetes who are inadequately controlled with insulin therapy. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of the Fractyl DMR Procedure using the Revita® System compared to a sham. Subjects randomized to the DMR procedure will be followed per protocol till 48 weeks post treatment. The purpose of this research study is to determine if rifampin, an antibiotic (a medicine that treats infections), is effective in treating osteomyelitis (infection of the bone) of the foot in diabetic patients. Despite use of powerful antibiotics prescribed over a long period of time, many diabetic patients remain at a high risk for needing an amputation of part of the foot or lower leg because the osteomyelitis is not cured. Some small research studies have shown that addition of rifampin to other antibiotics is effective in treating osteomyelitis in both diabetics and non-diabetics. However, because few diabetics with osteomyelitis have been studied, there is no definite proof that it is better than the usual treatments for diabetic patients. If this study finds that adding rifampin to the usual antibiotics prescribed for osteomyelitis reduces the risk for amputations, doctors will be able to more effectively treat many Veteran patients with this serious infection. This is a non-blinded, prospective, multi-center, single arm longitudinal cohort study (patient serving as their own control), to evaluate the effectiveness of diabetes with the Eversense CGM System non-adjunctively compared to self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) using a blood glucose (BG) meter in participants with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. Subjects will serve as their own control, with their baseline based on using SMBG to manage their diabetes for the first 6 months followed by using Eversense CGM System non-adjunctively for the second 6 months. Total follow-up duration is 12 months. The investigation will include both clinic visits and home use of Eversense CGM System. The nonadjunctive phase will have two sensors, up to 90-day duration, inserted sequentially. Researchers are looking for a better way to treat people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), a progressive decrease in the kidneys' ability to work properly, and type 1 diabetes. In people with type 1 diabetes, the body does not make enough of a hormone called insulin, resulting in high blood sugar levels that can cause damage to the kidneys. CKD often occurs together with or as a consequence of type 1 diabetes. The study treatment finerenone works by blocking certain proteins, called mineralocorticoid receptors. An increased stimulation of these proteins is thought to damage the kidneys and the heart. By lowering their stimulation, finerenone reduces the risk of kidney disease progressively getting worse. Finerenone is approved for doctors to prescribe to people with CKD and type 2 diabetes. In this study, researchers want to learn if finerenone works better than placebo in reducing the participants' kidney disease from getting worse when given in addition to standard of care (SOC) treatment. A placebo looks like a treatment but does not have any medicine in it. SOC is a procedure or treatment that medical experts consider most appropriate for a condition or disease. To find out how well finerenone works, the level of a protein (albumin) in the urine will be measured. Researchers also want to know how safe finerenone is. To do this, the researchers will collect the number of participants with: medical problems (also called treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs)) serious TEAEs. An TEAE is considered 'serious' when it leads to death, puts the participant's life at risk, requires hospitalization, causes disability, causes a baby being born with medical problems, or is medically important higher than normal blood levels of potassium (hyperkalaemia). Depending on the treatment group, the participants will either take finerenone or placebo, Importantly, the participants will also continue to take their regular SOC medicines. The participants will be in the study for up to 7.5 months and will take the study treatments for 6 months. During the study, they will visit the study site at least 6 times.
