Breast Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in New Jersey

This ComboMATCH patient screening trial is the gateway to a coordinated set of clinical trials to study cancer treatment directed by genetic testing. Patients with solid tumors that have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have progressed on at least one line of standard systemic therapy or have no standard treatment that has been shown to prolong overall survival may be candidates for these trials. Genetic tests look at the unique genetic material (genes) of patients' tumor cells. Patients with some genetic changes or abnormalities (mutations) may benefit from treatment that targets that particular genetic mutation. ComboMATCH is designed to match patients to a treatment that may work to control their tumor and may help doctors plan better treatment for patients with locally advanced or advanced solid tumors. This phase III trial compares the addition of an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) to usual chemotherapy versus usual chemotherapy alone in treating patients with MammaPrint High 2 Risk (MP2) stage II-III hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. There is some evidence from previous clinical trials that people who have a MammaPrint High 2 Risk result may be more likely to respond to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The purpose of this study to compare two types of cancer imaging scans to see which is better at detecting and monitoring metastatic ILC. This study will compare PET/CT (positron emission tomography/computed tomography) scans using the radiotracer fluorine 18 (18F)-fluoroestradiol (FES) with a standard imaging approach for detecting and monitoring ILC, PET/CT scans using the radiotracer 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG). This study is a first-in-human (FIH), Phase 1a/1b study of BG-68501, a cyclin-dependent kinase-2 inhibitor (CDK2i), to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics, and preliminary antitumor activity of BG-68501 in participants with advanced, nonresectable, or metastatic solid tumors as monotherapy and in combination with fulvestrant with or without BGB-43395, a selective CDK4 inhibitor, in adults with hormone receptor positive (HR+)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) breast cancer (BC). The purpose of this study to gather information about changes in the bones after stopping treatment with aromatase inhibitor/AI and denosumab. The study team will collect information from 5 standard clinic visits over the course of 24 months. This phase II trial tests how well an imaging procedure called fludeoxyglucose F-18 (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) works in predicting response to standard of care chemotherapy prior to surgery in patients with HER2-positive stage IIa-IIIc breast cancer. FDG is a radioactive tracer that is given in a vein before PET/CT imaging and helps to identify areas of active cancer. PET and CT are imaging techniques that make detailed, computerized pictures of areas inside the body. The use of FDG-PET/CT may help doctors better decide if a patient needs more or less treatment before surgery in order to get the best response. This trial collects multiple tissue and blood samples, along with medical information, from cancer patients. The "Cancer Moonshot Biobank" is a longitudinal study. This means it collects and stores samples and information over time, throughout the course of a patient's cancer treatment. By looking at samples and information collected from the same people over time, researchers hope to better understand how cancer changes over time and over the course of medical treatments.
