Breast Cancer Paid Clinical Trials in New Jersey

Previous clinical studies with the MarginProbe (MP) system demonstrated the MP System diagnostic accuracy for identification of cancerous/abnormal tissue at the margins (≤ 1mm) of the ex-vivo lumpectomy specimen. The current study is a prospective data collection study with the enhanced technology, the MP2.0 System and is aimed at collecting data to optimize the system algorithm/procedure and to subsequently validate the system to demonstrate non-inferiority to the MP1.x system. In this study, MP2.0 system will be used on ex-vivo lumpectomy specimens at the Operating Room (OR). The study will collect a library of case information data using the MP2.0 system in sequential cohorts of a minimum of 50 subjects until the software and procedure are optimized. This is a phase 2 study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the combination of INCMGA00012 and pelareorep and to see how well they work in treating patients with triple negative breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic). INCMGA00012 is a monoclonal antibody that works by attaching to the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and blocking this pathway, allowing the immune system to recognize and attack the cancer cells. Pelareorep is a type of virus called reovirus which occurs naturally and may break down cancer cells. This Phase III trial compares the recurrence-free interval (RFI) among patients with early-stage, low risk HER2+ breast cancer who undergo breast conserving surgery and receive HER2-directed therapy, and are randomized to not receive adjuvant breast radiotherapy versus those who are randomized to receive adjuvant radiotherapy per the standard of care. The purpose of this study is learn more about how being treated for breast cancer affects patients' employment. Researchers are testing an early version of a mobile app designed to help breast cancer patients keep their jobs during and after treatment. The app provides advice for patients to use when having conversations about breast cancer with their employers and their doctors. The app is called TEAMWork (Talking to Employers And Medical staff about Work). In this study, the investigators are asking breast cancer patients who are about to receive treatment or who are currently receiving treatment to tell us what aspects of the app work well, so that they can learn how to improve it. This is an umbrella study evaluating the efficacy and safety of multiple treatment combinations in participants with metastatic or inoperable locally advanced breast cancer. The study will be performed in two stages. During Stage 1, four cohorts will be enrolled in parallel in this study: Cohort 1 will consist of Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-positive participants who have received no prior systemic therapy for metastatic or inoperable locally advanced triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) (first-line [1L] PD-L1+ cohort). Cohort 2 will consist of participants who had disease progression during or following 1L treatment with chemotherapy for metastatic or inoperable locally-advanced TNBC and have not received cancer immunotherapy (CIT) (second-line [2L] CIT-naive cohort). Cohort 3 will consist of participants with locally-advanced or metastatic HR+, HER2-negative disease with PIK3CA mutation who may or may not have had disease progression during or following previous lines of treatment for metastatic disease (HR+cohort). Cohort 4 will consist of participants with locally-advanced or metastatic HER2+ /HER2-low disease with PIK3CA mutation who had disease progression on standard-of-care therapies (HER2+ /HER2-low cohort). In each cohort, eligible participants will initially be assigned to one of several treatment arms (Stage 1). In addition, participants in the 2L CIT-naïve cohort who experience disease progression, loss of clinical benefit, or unacceptable toxicity during Stage 1 may be eligible to continue treatment with a different treatment combination (Stage 2), provided Stage 2 is open for enrollment. The purpose of this study is find out whether Oleogel-S10 is an effective treatment for radiation dermatitis when it is used in combination with a standard wound treatment cream called triamcinolone. Oleogel-S10 has shortened the healing time for other types of skin wounds such as burns. The purpose of this study is to find out how often the researchers can avoid an ALND in patients with early-stage, node-positive HR+/HER2- breast cancer who are having upfront surgery. The study researchers think that, if AUS before surgery can help identify people who may have up to 3 affected lymph nodes, it will be possible to perform the less radical standard SLNB during surgery.
