Best Available Therapy Versus Autologous Hematopoetic Stem Cell Transplant for Multiple Sclerosis (BEAT-MS)

This is a multi-center prospective rater-masked (blinded) randomized controlled trial of 156 participants, comparing the treatment strategy of Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (AHSCT) to the treatment strategy of Best Available Therapy (BAT) for treatment-resistant relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS). Participants will be randomized at a 1 to 1 (1:1) ratio.
All participants will be followed for 72 months after randomization (Day 0, Visit 0).

The purpose of this study is to compare two different bone graft materials (freeze-dried bone allograft, FDBA and collagen-enriched bovine xenograft, CEBX) that are routinely used for preserving the remaining bone after extraction of an anterior tooth, and before placing a dental implant. The Effects of Disulfiram (Antabuse®) on Visual Acuity in Patients with Retinal Degeneration

Oral disulfiram (Antabuse®) has been shown to improve image-forming vision in animal models with retinal degeneration due to its ability to decrease Retinoic Acid synthesis and consequently reduce hyperactivity in the inner retina. The investigator will aim to evaluate the impact of oral disulfiram on the vision of patients with retinal degeneration who are being treated with the drug in the management of their concurrent alcohol use disorder.
