This pilot trial studies a telephone-based intervention to see if it increases adherence to adjuvant hormonal therapy in patients with breast cancer. Increasing communication between doctors and patients with breast cancer may help patients to better follow recommendations on taking adjuvant hormonal treatment medication. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the online, simulated human "Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening" decision aid (https://www.cdc.gov/prostate-cancer/talk-to-nathan/index.html) is effective in helping patients decide about prostate cancer screening. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is using the "Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening" decision aid effective in improving knowledge, overcoming health literacy barriers, and resolving decisional conflict compared to a standard decision aid or standard education materials? * What are the barriers and best practices for incorporating Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening into the flow of primary care practice? Researchers will compare "Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening" to a standard decision aid and to standard prostate cancer screening education materials to test the effectiveness of using "Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening." Participants will: * Use "Talk to Nathan About Prostate Cancer Screening," use a standard decision aid, or use standard education materials about prostate cancer screening * Visit the primary care clinic for follow-up * Complete surveys as part of the clinical trial Read Less

This is an open-label, multi-center, multi-cohort, Phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) for the treatment of selected HER2-expressing tumors. This study will consist of Part 1 which includes 7 cohorts of: urothelial bladder cancer, biliary tract cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and rare tumors; and Part 2 which includes 5 cohorts A to E of: A) any tumor type that is HER2 IHC 3+ (excluding breast, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer), B) any tumor type that is HER2 IHC 2+/ISH+ (excluding breast, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer), C) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ endometrial cancer, D) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ ovarian cancer, and E) HER2 IHC 2+ or 1+ cervical cancer. Study hypothesis: Trastuzumab deruxtecan will show meaningful clinical activity and a favorable risk benefit profile in selected HER2-expressing solid tumors. Read Less

This clinical trial evaluates whether a shared response plan (SHAREDCare) improves follow-up care for lung cancer survivors. As the number of cancer survivors increases, there is a new need for high-quality chronic illness care. High-quality chronic illness care can be difficult to deliver and involves working with the patient to be certain they have what they need to be actively involved with their care to meet their needs. SHAREDCare allows the patient to work with a navigator to review identified distress and social needs. The patient and navigator discuss the needs and develop a shared response plan to address the needs in ways that consider the patient's current behaviors, beliefs, and motivation. The plan also establishes specific patient goals, anticipates barriers, and establishes how the navigator will follow-up on the needs and adjust care and assistance when needed. Using a shared response plan may improve follow-up care for lung cancer survivors. Read Less

In a randomized controlled trial (RCT), the investigators will recruit participants to an 8-week "app-based wellness" intervention, followed by a 12-week follow-up period. The investigators will recruit a total of 276 self-declared Chronic Hematological Cancer (CHC) patients who (representative of age, race/ethnicity, and gender) will be on stable CHC pharmacologic therapy (if any), self-identify as sleep disturbed (\>5 on Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), do not have a sleep disorder diagnosis, do not take sleep medication/supplements \>3 times per week, and are not currently practicing regular meditation. Aim 1: Test the efficacy of two app-based wellness programs (10 minutes per day) on the primary outcome of self reported sleep disturbance (Insomnia Severity Index (primary) and PROMIS Sleep Disturbance (secondary)) and secondary sleep outcomes including sleep impairment (PROMIS Sleep Impairment Scale) and sleep efficiency measured via sleep diaries and actigraphy. Aim 2: Test the efficacy of two app-based wellness programs (10 minutes per day) on inflammatory markers (i.e., TNF-a, IL-6, IL-8, CRP), fatigue, and emotional distress (i.e., anxiety, depressive symptoms measured with PROMIS®). The purpose of this gene therapy research study is to test the safety and tolerability of using a new treatment called autologous T lymphocyte chimeric antigen receptor cells against the B7-H3 antigen (iC9.CAR.B7-H3 T cells) in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma that came back after receiving standard therapy for this cancer. The purpose of this study is to compare any good and bad effects of using radium-223 along with docetaxel chemotherapy treatment versus using docetaxel alone. Earlier studies helped show that the combination is safe, but the combination has not been proven to work better than either drug alone.
