Young Adult Infusion Space Experience Satisfaction Survey
The purpose of this study is to compare the satisfaction of Adolescent and Young Adults (AYA) receiving treatment in two different infusion spaces at the North Carolina Basnight Cancer Hospital (NCBCH). A survey and semi-structured interviews will be administered to participants to compare the experience with the built environment, with mental health staff, and between outpatient infusion spaces at NCBCH.
KM3D Multicenter Cancer Consortium: Predicting Patient Response Using 3D Cell Culture Models
This study will assess the ability of the Known Medicine platform to predict the efficacy of certain cancer drug treatments and to validate that tumor organoid drug sensitivity is representative of patient treatment outcomes.
Abatacept in Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Myocarditis
The primary aim is to test whether abatacept, as compared to placebo, is associated with a reduction in major adverse cardiac events (MACE) among participants hospitalized with myocarditis secondary to an immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI). The primary outcome, MACE, is a composite of first occurrence of cardiovascular death, non-fatal sudden cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, significant ventricular arrythmias, significant bradyarrythmias, or incident heart failure.

MRD Assay Evaluates Recurrence and Response Via a Tumor Informed Assessment
This study recruits patient with solid tumor types for sample collection and monitoring. Participants will provide blood and archival tissue samples in order to create a Personalized Cancer Monitoring (PCM) assay. This research study is investigating the safety and effectiveness of using combination of isatuximab, lenalidomide and dexamethasone for the treatment of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM).
