The goal of this interventional study is to develop and test a treatment prognosis calculator to identify which service members with suicidal ideation or behavior are likely to respond well to the current standard of care treatment and which should instead receive Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (BCBT) as a first-line treatment. The main aims of the study are: * Aim 1: To develop a novel treatment prognostic calculator to predict response to treatment as usual (TAU) and identify treatment-seeking military personnel who are unlikely to respond adequately to TAU for the reduction of suicidal ideation. * Aim 2: To evaluate the performance of the treatment prognosis calculator in a new sample of treatment-seeking military personnel and determine whether BCBT is more effective than TAU for those patients who are predicted not to respond adequately to TAU. Participants will receive mental health treatment as it is typically administered by their mental healthcare treatment team. Members of their mental healthcare treatment team may receive intensive training in BCBT. After their provider has received this training, they may use this treatment as part of standard of care treatment. The timing of this training will be determined randomly. Participants will complete self-report assessments at the beginning of the study (baseline) as well as 3, 6, 9 and 12 months after their participant begins. This phase II trial studies how well a biologically optimized infusion schedule of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel works in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Altering the timing of the nab-paclitaxel infusion may improve response in patients with pancreatic cancer. Read Less

The objective of the study is to assess 2 different initial incubator humidification protocols for infants \<25 weeks' gestation admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The hypothesis is that a higher starting humidity decreases dehydration and results in no difference in survival or morbidity. Higher (90%) and lower (70%) starting humidity will be compared. The overall purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of an intervention designed to prevent nurse suicide. This randomized controlled trial will test the modified Interactive Screening Program (mISP) alone and the mISP combined with a program called MINDBODYSTRONG. The mISP is a method of screening to detect clinicians at moderate to high risk for suicide and referring them for treatment through an encrypted anonymous on-line platform. MINDBODYSTRONG© is an adaptation of a well-tested cognitive-behavioral skills building intervention (also known as COPE in the literature) that provides a cognitive-behavior theory-based approach to decrease depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation and improve healthy lifestyle beliefs and behaviors in at-risk populations. MINDBODYSTRONG© will involve eight self-paced computerized sessions designed specifically for nurses and clinicians. The goals of this study: 1. Determine if a play based test of arm and hand movements is valid and reliable when conducted through telehealth for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. 2. Measure differences in parent, provider and child engagement when an assessment is conducted in-person compared to via telehealth. 3. Rate caregivers' overall impressions of procedures when an assessment is conducted in-person compared to telehealth. Participants will attend two visits, one in person and one through telehealth. During each visit, the child will play with common toys. This clinical trial tests how well an online mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) works to decrease anxiety in patients before a first-time screening colonoscopy. Elevated pre-procedural anxiety can affect patient outcomes including bowel preparation adherence and quality, the amount of sedation required, procedure time, patient satisfaction, cancellation or no-shows, and intention for future cancer screening. Mindfulness is a form of meditation that focuses on staying within the present moment to reduce anxiety. Previous research supports mindfulness practice among cancer survivors to decrease anxiety, fear of cancer re-occurrence, and to improve quality of life. Online MBIs have the potential to include targeted meditations and educational information designed to promote behavior change. This study may help researchers learn whether a mindfulness intervention works to decrease anxiety in patients before a first-time screening colonoscopy. Read Less
