ESIS in Pediatric DRE

The main reason for this research study is to gain information about how the brain makes seizures by causing seizures using very small amounts of current, or electrical stimulation. Using small amounts of current to cause seizures (or stimulate) is not new at CCHMC - it is part of routine clinical practice for some patients at some electrodes. This study differs from routine clinical care in that all study patients will undergo electrical stimulation in all or nearly all electrode contacts. The ...

A Study to Evaluate Adverse Events of Subcutaneous (SC) Epcoritamab Administered in the Outpatient Setting in Adult Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and Follicular Lymphoma

B-cell Lymphoma is an aggressive and rare cancer of a type of immune cells (a white blood cell responsible for fighting infections). Follicular Lymphoma is a slow-growing type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety of epcoritamab in adult participants in relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) or R/R follicular lymphoma (FL). Adverse events will be assessed. Epcoritamab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of ...

Electrocardiogram-based Artificial Intelligence-assisted Detection of Heart Disease

Atrial fibrillation is an abnormal beating of the heart that can lead to stroke or heart failure. Structural heart diseases are conditions that affect the heart valves or heart muscle and can cause permanent heart damage if left untreated. Sometimes people have atrial fibrillation or structural heart disease and do not know it. The purpose of this study is to evaluate two devices that can predict who has or may develop atrial fibrillation or structural heart disease based on the results of an el ...

Study of Cariprazine Oral Capsules or Solution to Assess Adverse Events and Change in Irritability Due to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Participants Aged 5-17 Years With ASD

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) consists of deficits in social, communication, and cognitive development, repetitive and stereotypic behaviors. Many ASD patients show notably high levels of irritability, including verbal and physical aggression, self injury, and/or property destruction. Autistic infants tend to avoid eye contact and show little interest in others. This study will assess how safe and effective cariprazine is in treating pediatric participants (5 to 17 years of age) with ASD. Adver ...
