This phase Ib/II trial tests the safety, best dose and how well gemcitabine and ex vivo expanded allogenic universal donor TGFBi NK cells with or without naxitamab work for the treatment of patients with GD2 expressing, HER2 negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that blocks the cells from making deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. TGFBi NK cells are manufactured cells that are a part of your natural immunity. NK cells can recognize missing or incorrect proteins on tumor cells and then eliminate these tumor cells and TGFBi NK cells are created to be able to better kill the tumor cells. Naxitamab is a monoclonal antibody that targets GD2, which is a protein or sugar present on tumor cells but not very commonly found on normal cells. This antibody helps draw the attention of the immune system to the tumor cells that have GD2 to help attack the tumor cells. The purpose of this research is to try to better understand how much information relating to cancer screening and diagnoses that people can recall on their own and to better understand how to help people get better information. This phase Ib trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of the combination of vismodegib and atezolizumab in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent) or has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Vismodegib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving a combination of vismodegib and atezolizumab may be safe, tolerable and/or effective than either drug alone in treating patients with recurrent or metastatic NSCLC. Read Less

This is a Phase 3, open-label, single arm trial designed to evaluate Cretostimogene patients with NMIBC who have failed prior BCG therapy. Up to approximately 115 CIS bladder cancer patients with or without HG Ta or HG T1 papillary disease will be enrolled under the original protocol through Amendment 4, which will comprise Cohort C. Cohort C is closed to enrollment. Under Amendment 5-1, Cohort P was added to enroll up to 70 patients with HG Ta/T1 papillary bladder cancer. Under Amendment 6, the target number of patients enrolled in Cohort P was increased to 75. Cohort P is open to enrollment Cohort C and Cohort P will be analyzed and reported separately. This phase II trial tests how well the combination of futibatinib and durvalumab given before cystectomy works in treating patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) who are ineligible for cisplatin-based therapy. Cisplatin-based therapy is the standard of care for patients with MIBC. However, many patients cannot receive standard therapy due to poor renal function, peripheral neuropathy, poor functional status, or clinically significant heart failure. Futibatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Durvalumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radical cystectomy is a surgery to remove all of the bladder as well as nearby tissues and organs. Giving futibatinib in combination with durvalumab before surgery may be an effective treatment option for patients with MIBC who are ineligible for cisplatin-based therapy. Read Less

This phase III trial compares the effect of adding carboplatin to the standard of care chemotherapy drug cabazitaxel versus cabazitaxel alone in treating prostate cancer that keeps growing even when the amount of testosterone in the body is reduced to very low levels (castrate-resistant) and that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cabazitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Prednisone is often given together with chemotherapy drugs. Prednisone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce inflammation and lower the body's immune response to help lessen the side effects of chemotherapy drugs and to help the chemotherapy work. Giving carboplatin with the standard of care chemotherapy drug cabazitaxel may be better at treating metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer. Read Less

This clinical trial develops and tests a mobile health (mHealth) intervention to improve adherence to lifestyle recommendations in colorectal cancer (CRC) survivors and their family caregivers. The current challenge for cancer survivorship is identifying novel approaches to help adhere to the lifestyle recommendations that have been shown to improve symptom burden, health outcomes, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The development of a digital health intervention specifically for CRC survivors and family caregivers may improve adherence to the American Cancer Society Nutrition and Physical Activity Guideline for Cancer Survivors and improve family health.
