The purpose of this observational research study is to follow participants who have been treated with either bel-sar or received alternate treatment (sham, standard of care therapy, etc.) while participating in a previous Aura Biosciences clinical research study to assess the long-term safety and effectiveness in these subjects. This study will collect information from procedures conducted as part of routine follow-up eye care and cancer care. XLPAD is an observational study designed to evaluate the effectiveness and use of stent and non-stent based therapies among PAD patients. The study will create a registry that will include entry of procedural and clinical follow-up information into an online data collection software, REDCAP.Data available since Jan 1 2005 will be included in the registry, until 14,000 patients have been included. The primary objectives of this observational registry study are to: 1. Compare stent and non-stent based outcomes defined as a composite of symptom driven target vessel revascularization (TVR), unplanned surgical revascularization of the target limb and need for target limb amputation through 12 months post-index procedure (Primary efficacy endpoint) 2. Compare stent and non-stent based outcomes defined as a composite of causes such as: death, myocardial infarction (MI), stroke, peri-procedural complications, target vessel revascularization (TVR) and unplanned surgical revascularization/amputation of the target limb through 12 months (Primary safety endpoint) 3. Compare stent and non-stent based change in walking distance, Rutherford category and/or ankle- brachial index (ABI) at 12 months compared to baseline (Primary clinical improvement endpoint) Approximately 14,000patients will be enrolled at approximately 60 sites worldwide. Enrollment in the observational study will be monitored in an effort to achieve at least 20% (and no more than 80%) of the population receiving stents as the initial treatment strategy. Follow-up visits by sites will be reported at 6 and 12 months after index procedure to collect data on treatment patterns and effectiveness, and outcomes. The follow-up procedures are not mandated by the registry protocol. Each site will be encouraged to enter follow-up information derived from clinically indicated follow-up visits. All events post-index procedure till the 7th month will be reported under the 6 month follow-up form and subsequent follow-up till the 13th month post-procedure will be entered on the 12 month follow-up form. Patient management and treatment decisions are at the discretion of the care team per routine clinical practice. The procedural aspects (including selection of stent type or non-stent based treatments) and follow-up are not mandated by the registry and will be up to the discretion of the operator and/or based upon the practice dictated by the clinical care of the patient. Pathogenic variants in the Cyclin-dependent kinase like 5 (CDKL5) gene cause CDKL5 deficiency disorder (CDD, MIM 300672, 105830), a severe developmental and epileptic encephalopathy associated with cognitive and motor impairments and cortical visual impairment. While capability for disease modifying therapies is accelerating, there is a critical barrier for clinical trial readiness that may result in failure of these therapies, not due to lack of efficacy but due to lack of validated outcome measures and biomarkers. This study investigates whether intravenous (IV) iron \[Feraheme (ferumoxytol) injection)\] is a better treatment than oral iron pills (ferrous sulfate) for correcting anemia in women who have heavy menstrual bleeding and anemia. Investigators will study whether women's blood counts respond better, respond more quickly, and if women prefer the IV treatment or the oral treatment. Women who have heavy menstrual bleeding and anemia will be randomly assigned to receive treatment with either oral iron pills or IV iron infusions. Investigators will then check whether and how quickly the anemia improves, and survey participants on how satisfied they were with the treatment. Read Less

Anterior vertebral body tethering (AVBT) is a novel, minimally invasive, growth modulation technique that was recently approved by the FDA under a Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE). The goal of AVBT is to control curve progression by applying compression on the convex side of the spine deformity. While there has been great initial enthusiasm about the technique as an alternate treatment option to spinal fusion for skeletally immature children with scoliosis, there is a need to better understand the long-term outcomes. The purpose of this study is to report the long-term clinical outcomes of skeletally immature patients treated with AVBT, specifically: 1. The effect on three-dimensional spine growth as compared to normal controls 2. Maintenance of major Cobb angle less than or equal to 50 degrees at skeletal maturity 3. Healthy adult subjects will participate in two sessions. The first session will involve measurements of brain activity using simultaneous recordings with electroencephalography (EEG) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). During brain activity measurement, participants will perform cognitive tasks assessing attention. The second will involve fMRI-based neurofeedback during simultaneous EEG-fMRI recording. This study is for older children, adolescents, and young adults with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). Higher amounts of body fat is associated with resistance to chemotherapy in patients with B-ALL. Chemotherapy during the first month causes large gains in body fat in most people, even those who start chemotherapy at a healthy weight. This study is being done to find out if caloric restriction achieved by a personalized nutritional menu and exercise plan during routine chemotherapy can make the patient's ALL more sensitive to chemotherapy and also reduce the amount of body fat gained during treatment. The goals of this study are to help make chemotherapy more effective in treating the patient's leukemia as demonstrated by fewer patients with leukemia minimal residual disease (MRD) while also trying to reduce the amount of body fat that chemotherapy causes the patient to gain in the first month. The 2019 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) is a global pandemic secondary to a novel coronavirus - SARS-CoV-2. The reported case-fatality ratio for SARS-CoV-2 in the United States is 1.8% with a current death toll of \>300,000 and climbing.4 There is no accepted standard of care or FDA approved therapies for treatment of COVID-19. Virus specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) have become an important part of the treatment landscape for viral reactivation post hematopoietic and solid organ transplantation. Donor derived CTLs have been shown to be safe and effective against a variety of viruses including CMV, EBV, BK and adenovirus. We hypothesize that SARS-CoV-2 specific CTLs generated from a previously infected family donor will be safe and effective for treatment of COVID-19 in family members with mild to moderate disease.
