A Long-term Follow-up Study of Sotatercept for PAH Treatment (MK-7962-004/A011-12)
Recruiting
This study is being conducted to assess the long-term safety, tolerability, and efficacy of sotatercept (MK-7962, formerly called ACE-011) in participants with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). This open-label, long-term follow-up (LTFU) study is supported by data from the PULSAR study (Phase 2, NCT03496207) in which treatment with sotatercept resulted in hemodynamic and functional improvements in the study participants, including those receiving maximal PAH therapy with double/triple drug... Supporting Self-Management of Healthy Behaviors in Diabetes, Kidney Disease, and Hypertension
Recruiting
The planned intervention, entitled, Supporting Self-Management of Health Behaviors to Optimize Health (SMART-HABITS for Health), aims to provide support for patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension and diabetes by providing text messages delivered as motivational reminders and support to encourage blood pressure self-monitoring through goal setting, customized task prompts via text message and feedback, leveraging social connections, and use of a gamification design.

MK-5475-013 INSIGNIA-PH-COPD: A Study of the Efficacy and Safety of MK-5475 (an Inhaled sGC Stimulator) in Adults With PH-COPD
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of once daily oral inhalation dose of MK-5475 380 µg in participants 40 to 85 years (inclusive) with Pulmonary Hypertension associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (PH-COPD).
The primary hypothesis of the study is MK-5475, a soluble Guanylate Cyclase (sGC) stimulator is superior to placebo in increasing 6 Minute Walking Distance (6MWD) from baseline at Week 24.

A Study of Sotatercept for the Treatment of Cpc-PH Due to HFpEF (MK-7962-007/A011-16)
Recruiting
This is a Phase 2, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sotatercept versus placebo in adults with Cpc-PH due to HFpEF.
The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of sotatercept versus placebo in adults with Cpc-PH due to HFpEF. Efficacy is measured by change from baseline in pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR, primary endpoint) and 6-minute walk distance (6MWD, key secondary endpoint).

Treatment With Aspirin After Preeclampsia: TAP Trial
Recruiting
The objective of this research project is to conduct a single-site pilot trial to assess the feasibility and effect of low-dose aspirin to augment vascular recovery in the immediate postpartum period after preeclampsia through two specific aims: 1) to pilot test the feasibility of conducting a randomized controlled trial of postpartum low dose aspirin vs. placebo, and 2) to assess the effect of postpartum aspirin on endothelial function and blood pressure. Our central hypothesis is that postpart... Read More
