RSC-101 is a Phase 1a/1b clinical trial of RSC-1255 in adult study participants with advanced solid tumor malignancies who are intolerant of existing therapies known to provide clinical benefit, have disease that has progressed after standard therapy, or have previously failed other therapies. This clinical research studies the physiology and immunology of new-onset post-transplant diabetes mellitus in patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTT), hyperglycemic clamps, and immune assays will be used to define the mechanisms associated with abnormal glucose homeostasis following stem cell transplantation. This study is being proposed to evaluate the use of moderate hypofractionated proton therapy in low and intermediate risk prostate cancer patients. Quality of life outcomes as well as gastrointestinal and genitourinary early and late toxicities will be analyzed and compared to conventional proton therapy regimens. It is thought that this regimen will produce comparable findings and would result in substantial health care cost savings, as well as, be more convenient for patients. Read Less
