The Revita® system is being investigated to assess the efficacy of DMR versus Sham on improvement in Glycemic, Hepatic and Cardiovascular endpoints for patients with Type 2 Diabetes who are inadequately controlled with insulin therapy. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of the Fractyl DMR Procedure using the Revita® System compared to a sham. Subjects randomized to the DMR procedure will be followed per protocol till 48 weeks post treatment. This study will look at how much CagriSema helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new investigational medicine. Doctors may not yet prescribe CagriSema. CagriSema will be compared to a "dummy" medicine (also called "placebo") that has no effect on the body. Participant will get either CagriSema or "dummy" medicine and which treatment they get is decided by chance. The purpose of this project is to examine the feasibility/acceptability of a one-day Acceptance and Commitment Therapy + Lifestyle Education group intervention paired with 12-weeks of Continuous Glucose Monitoring for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) living in rural communities. This study is being designed as a randomized control trial (RCT) comparing ACT+LE+CGM to LE+CGM to LE. The ultimate goal of this line of research is that a community-wide intervention of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Lifestyle Education (LE) will improve T2D outcomes in rural communities compared to CGM and LE, or LE alone. This study will compare the new medicine IcoSema, which is a combination of insulin icodec and semaglutide, taken once a week, to insulin glargine (mentioned as insulin glargine in this form) taken daily in people with type 2 diabetes. The study will look at how well IcoSema controls blood sugar levels as compared to insulin glargine in people with type 2 diabetes who do not have their blood sugar properly controlled with other oral diabetes medicines. Participant will either get IcoSema or insulin glargine. Which treatment participants get is decided by chance. IcoSema is a new medicine that doctors cannot prescribe. This study will look at how well a new medicine called NNC0519-0130 helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar and body weight. The study will test up to 7 different doses of NNC0519-0130. Which treatment participant will get is decided by chance. Participants will take 1-3 injections once a week. The purpose of this research study is to determine if rifampin, an antibiotic (a medicine that treats infections), is effective in treating osteomyelitis (infection of the bone) of the foot in diabetic patients. Despite use of powerful antibiotics prescribed over a long period of time, many diabetic patients remain at a high risk for needing an amputation of part of the foot or lower leg because the osteomyelitis is not cured. Some small research studies have shown that addition of rifampin to other antibiotics is effective in treating osteomyelitis in both diabetics and non-diabetics. However, because few diabetics with osteomyelitis have been studied, there is no definite proof that it is better than the usual treatments for diabetic patients. If this study finds that adding rifampin to the usual antibiotics prescribed for osteomyelitis reduces the risk for amputations, doctors will be able to more effectively treat many Veteran patients with this serious infection.
