The purpose of this study is to compare two different antibiotic regimens and techniques during total ankle arthroplasty (TAA). Primary Objective: Comparable levels of vancomycin will be found in bone, soft tissue, and systemic samples between patient groups. Secondary Objective: Compare 30 day and 90 day post-operative complication rates (infection) between the control (standard IV administration of vancomycin) vs the interventional group (intraosseous administration of vancomycin). The goal of the Shoulder iD™ Primary Reversed Glenoid Outcomes Clinical Study is to collect safety and performance data on the commercially available Shoulder iD™ Primary Reversed Glenoid device. The study will learn about standard device use in adult patients who have a functional deltoid muscle and massive and non-repairable rotator cuff tear. The main questions it aims to answer are: What is the average improvement in patient-reported shoulder function after 2 years when compared to before the surgery, and What is the rate of surgical revisions needed over a 10 year period Patients will be asked to will be asked to regularly attend their check-up visits with their surgeon (including having x-rays or CT images taken to check their shoulder and implant), to complete questionnaires to report how their shoulder is doing, and to tell their surgeon when they notice any changes. This study aims to evaluate behavioral interventions in conjunction with medical rehabilitation to promote functional health in patients recovering from orthopedic surgery. Half of the subjects in this study will be assigned to an intervention that meets with a study therapist to discuss implementing healthy habits. The other half of subjects will assigned to an intervention group that meets with a study therapists to discuss implementing healthy sleep habits. The goal of treating patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is to achieve remission or low disease activity and thereby prevent joint damage, loss of physical function, and disability. Optimal management requires regular assessment of disease activity, with treatment changes made as needed for optimal efficacy. Vectra is a blood serum test that looks at 12 biomarkers and produces a score on a scale of 1 to 100. The Vectra score has been shown to be the strongest predictor of risk for progression of disease. There is opportunity to gain more information about the utility of Vectra in a real-world clinical setting. This study will, therefore, evaluate the utility of Vectra for guiding treatment decisions and improving RA-related outcomes in comparison with usual care, which will not include Vectra testing. This study will enable a direct evaluation of the clinical benefit associated with using Vectra to guide treatment decisions in patients with RA. Read Less
