A Study to Learn About How a New Pneumococcal Vaccine Works in Infants
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety of a new pneumococcal vaccine and how the new pneumococcal vaccine helps to fight against germs in infants when compared to the pneumococcal vaccines that are currently in use, 20vPnC (Prevnar 20®) or another licensed pneumococcal vaccine. To ensure that the new vaccine (PG4) stays stable, it is placed in a liquid mixture of sterile water and other substances (a solution). This study will also test if there is a difference in the safety and... Read More

S1602: Different Strains of BCG With or Without Vaccine in High Grade Non- Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies Tokyo-172 strain bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) solution with or without a vaccination using Tokyo-172 strain BCG to see how well it works compared with TICE BCG solution in treating patients with bladder cancer that has not spread to muscle. BCG is a non-infectious bacteria that when instilled into the bladder may stimulate the immune system to fight bladder cancer. Giving different versions of BCG with vaccine therapy may prevent bladder cancer from retu... Read More

Entre Herman@s: Promoting Health Among Latino MSM
Active Not Recruiting
This is a randomized controlled trial with an attention placebo control group. The goal of this study is to decrease HIV incidence in Latino men who have sex with men by engaging their siblings in PrEP-use promotion. In the intervention arm, siblings will be trained to engage their gay brother in PrEP conversations. In the control arm, siblings will be trained to engage their gay brother in conversations about vaccines to prevent COVID, Hepatitis A/B, or MPOX.

A Study to Investigate Vaccine Responses in Subcutaneous Amlitelimab Treated Atopic Dermatitis Participants Aged 18 Years and Older Compared With Placebo
Recruiting
This is a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind placebo controlled, 2-arm study to evaluate the effect of amlitelimab on vaccine antibody responses, and the safety of amlitelimab concurrently administered with non-live vaccines in adult participants with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The purpose of this study is to compare the immune responses to concomitantly administered Boostrix (tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis \[Tdap\]) and Pneumovax 23 (PPSV) vaccines in... High vs.Standard Dose Influenza Vaccine in Pediatric Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Recipients
Recruiting
Influenza virus is a significant pathogen in pediatric solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients. However, these individuals respond poorly to standard-dose (SD) inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV). Recent studies have investigated two strategies to overcome poor immune responses in SOT recipients: (1) administration of high-dose (HD)-IIV compared to SD-IIV and (2) two doses of SD-IIV compared to one dose of SD-IIV in the same influenza season. One study compared HD-IIV vs. SD-IIV in adult SOT rec... Read More

Recruiting
The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a human metapneumovirus (hMPV) / respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) mRNA vaccine candidate encapsulated in a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) based formulation (hereafter referred to as hMPV/RSV vaccine) for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by hMPV and/or RSV among adults aged 60 years and older. Overall, the study is designed to address the following goals: * Assess the safety profile of the candidate... Read More

Vaccine Therapy and Pembrolizumab in Treating Patients With Solid Tumors That Have Failed Prior Therapy
Active Not Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the side effects of vaccine therapy and pembrolizumab in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment, that have failed prior therapy, and that cannot be removed by surgery. Vaccines made from a gene-modified virus may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may block tumor growth in different ways by t... Read More

CMV-MVA Triplex Vaccination of Stem Cell Donors in Preventing CMV Viremia in Participants With Allogeneic Transplant
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well multi-peptide CMV-modified vaccinia Ankara (CMV-MVA Triplex) vaccination of stem cell donors works in preventing cytomegalovirus (CMV) viremia in participants with blood cancer undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Giving a vaccine to the donors may boost the recipient's immunity to this virus and reduce the chance of CMV disease after transplant.
