S1602: Different Strains of BCG With or Without Vaccine in High Grade Non- Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer
Active Not Recruiting
This randomized phase III trial studies Tokyo-172 strain bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) solution with or without a vaccination using Tokyo-172 strain BCG to see how well it works compared with TICE BCG solution in treating patients with bladder cancer that has not spread to muscle. BCG is a non-infectious bacteria that when instilled into the bladder may stimulate the immune system to fight bladder cancer. Giving different versions of BCG with vaccine therapy may prevent bladder cancer from retu... Read More

Entre Herman@s: Promoting Health Among Latino MSM
Active Not Recruiting
This is a randomized controlled trial with an attention placebo control group. The goal of this study is to decrease HIV incidence in Latino men who have sex with men by engaging their siblings in PrEP-use promotion. In the intervention arm, siblings will be trained to engage their gay brother in PrEP conversations. In the control arm, siblings will be trained to engage their gay brother in conversations about vaccines to prevent COVID, Hepatitis A/B, or MPOX.

The HPV 9-10 Trial: Early Initiation of HPV Vaccination
Recruiting
Every year, thousands of Americans die from cancers related to human papillomavirus (HPV). The vast majority of those deaths could be prevented with a safe and effective vaccine, yet many parents choose not have their children vaccinated when it is recommended at age 11 or 12. In this study, we will examine in a randomized trial whether earlier initiation of the vaccine at age 9-10 years will result in less parental refusal and higher rates of full vaccination at younger ages, before early sexua... Preventive Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine Trial in Kidney Transplant Recipients
Active Not Recruiting
This phase II trial studies whether the nonavalent human papillomavirus vaccine given to adults prior to kidney transplantation can help the body build and maintain an effective immune response during the post-transplant period when they receive immunosuppressive drugs to prevent transplant rejection. This study will help inform our scientific understanding about vaccine-induced immune responses among immunosuppressed individuals.

Peptide-Pulsed Dendritic Cell Vaccination in Combination With Nivolumab and Ipilimumab for the Treatment of Recurrent and/or Progressive Diffuse Hemispheric Glioma, H3 G34-mutant
Withdrawn
This phase I trial tests peptide-pulsed dendritic cell vaccination in combination with immunotherapy nivolumab and ipilimumab for the treatment diffuse hemispheric glioma with a H3 G34 mutation that has come back (recurrent) and/or is growing, spreading, or getting worse (progressive). Vaccines made from the patient's own white blood cells and peptide-pulsed dendritic cells may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as... Read More
