The aims of this trial are to demonstrate the consistency of three manufacturing lots of GSK Biologicals' DTaP-IPV candidate vaccine in terms of immunogenicity and to evaluate the non-inferiority of GSK Biologicals' DTaP-IPV vaccine with respect to immunogenicity and safety compared to the control vaccines (separate injections of GSK Biologicals' DTaP vaccine \[Infanrix\] and Aventis Pasteur's IPV vaccine \[IPOL\]) when administered as a 5th dose of DTaP and a 4th dose of inactivated poliovirus vaccine in subjects 4 to 6 years of age. This study will examine effects of everyday life stress and obesity on immune responses to influenza virus vaccine (the flu shot) during pregnancy. Following vaccination, antibody levels against influenza (the flu) increase. Higher antibody levels indicate better immune protection from influenza. In addition to providing protection from the flu for yourself, being vaccinated during pregnancy may protect your baby from the flu during the first six months of life during which time infants cannot be vaccinated. Our primary goals are to determine whether greater life stress and obesity reduce 1) antibody responses to the flu shot in women and 2) antibody levels in the newborn at the time of delivery. The aim of the study is to evaluate a prototype quadrivalent influenza vaccine (QIV), the licensed 2010-2011 trivalent influenza vaccine (TIV) containing the primary B strain (B1), and the investigational TIV containing the alternate B (B2) strain in children. Primary Objective: To demonstrate non-inferiority of antibody responses to QIV compared with licensed 2010-2011 TIV (containing the primary B strain) and investigational TIV (containing the alternate B strain) as assessed by geometric mean titer (GMT) ratios for each of the four virus strains separately among children aged 6 months to less than 9 years of age Secondary Objective: To demonstrate superiority of antibody responses to each B strain in QIV compared with antibody titers following vaccination with the TIV that does not contain the corresponding B strain, as assessed by GMT ratios and seroconversion rates. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of interferon alfa-2b when given together with vaccine therapy and GM-CSF in treating patients with locally advanced or metastatic cancer that makes CEA. Vaccines made from a gene-modified virus may help the body build an effective immune response to kill cancer cells that make carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Biological therapies, such as GM-CSF, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Interferon alfa-2b may interfere with the growth of cancer cells and slow cancer growth. Giving vaccine therapy together with GM-CSF and interferon alfa-2b may kill more cancer cells that make CEA.
