This international multi-center registry is used to collect existing information and outcomes for patients undergoing an operation for treatment of injuries to the brain including the blockage of blood flow to an area of the brain, an abnormal ballooning of an artery, abnormal tangling of blood vessels, abnormal formation of blood vessels, tearing of vein, and bleeding in the brain. This information is used to help predict outcomes that undergo an operation for treatment of the above-listed brain injuries. Tagraxofusp is a protein-drug conjugate consisting of a diphtheria toxin redirected to target CD123 has been approved for treatment in pediatric and adult patients with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN). This trial aims to examine the safety of this novel agent in pediatric patients with relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancies. The mechanism by which tagraxofusp kills cells is distinct from that of conventional chemotherapy. Tagraxofusp directly targets CD123 that is present on tumor cells, but is expressed at lower or levels or absent on normal hematopoietic stem cells. Tagraxofusp also utilizes a payload that is not cell cycle dependent, making it effective against both highly proliferative tumor cells and also quiescent tumor cells. The rationale for clinical development of tagraxofusp for pediatric patients with hematologic malignancies is based on the ubiquitous and high expression of CD123 on many of these diseases, as well as the highly potent preclinical activity and robust clinical responsiveness in adults observed to date. This trial includes two parts: a monotherapy phase and a combination chemotherapy phase. This design will provide further monotherapy safety data and confirm the FDA approved pediatric dose, as well as provide safety data when combined with chemotherapy. The goal of this study is to improve survival rates in children and young adults with relapsed hematological malignancies, determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of tagraxofusp given alone and in combination with chemotherapy, as well as to describe the toxicities, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamic properties of tagraxofusp in pediatric patients. People aging with HIV are at higher risk for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and although physical activity is a promising target to mitigate such risk, this population engages in low levels of physical activity. Few studies have tested cognitive effects of exercise interventions or examined mechanisms of adherence to long-term exercise among diverse samples of midlife and older people with HIV. The current study will leverage an existing R01 to address these gaps and provide implications for development of personalized approaches for the treatment and prevention of cognitive impairment and dementia in older people with HIV. The goal of this interventional study is to determine the amount of skin C. acnes reduction with increased pressure during the chlorhexidine gluconate, brand name ChloraPrep, application. The main question it aims to answer is: Does changing the pressure applied during the ChloraPrep application impact the amount of C. acnes bacteria on the skin after one hour? Researchers will compare ChloraPrep applied at a pressure similar to a gentle wipe to ChloraPrep applied at a pressure similar to a massage to see if wash the amount of C. acnes on the skin after one hour is different. Participants will have one shoulder washed with ChloraPrep using pressure meant to impact the dermal layer, similar to a gentle wipe, and the other shoulder washed with ChloraPrep using pressure meant to impact the subdermal layer, similar to a massage. Participants will have swabs taken of their skin before the ChloraPrep application and again one hour after application to look for the amount of C. acnes on the skin. Read Less

In this phase II trial, the investigators overarching goal is to demonstrate the feasibility and potential benefit of darbepoetin (Darbe) plus slow-release intravenous (IV) iron to decrease transfusions, maintain iron sufficiency and improve the neurodevelopmental outcomes of preterm infants. Investigators hypothesize that in infants \< 32 completed weeks of gestation, combined treatment with Darbe plus Ferumoxytol (FMX) or Darbe plus low molecular weight iron dextran (LMW-ID) will: 1) be safe, 2) decrease or eliminate transfusions, 3) maintain iron sufficiency, 4) result in higher hematocrit and 5) improve neurodevelopment. For the approximately one in five children with social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) challenges, accessible evidence-based prevention practices (EBPPs) are critical. In the United States, schools are the primary service setting for children's SEB service delivery but EBPPs are rarely adopted or implemented by educators (e.g., teachers) with sufficient fidelity to see effects. Given that individual behavior change is ultimately required for successful implementation, focusing on individual-level processes holds promise as a parsimonious approach to enhance adoption. Beliefs and Attitudes for Successful Implementation in Schools for Teachers (BASIS-T) is a pragmatic, multifaceted pre-implementation strategy targeting volitional and motivational mechanisms of educators' behavior change to enhance implementation and student SEB outcomes. This study protocol describes a hybrid type 3 effectiveness-implementation trial designed to evaluate the main effects, mediators, and moderators of the BASIS-T implementation strategy in the context of Positive Greetings at the Door (PGD), a universal school-based EBPP previously demonstrated to reduce student disruptive behavior and increase academic engagement.
