This study is being done to identify markers and causes of cancer by analyzing patient's DNA (i.e., genetic material), RNA, plasma, tissues, or other samples that could be informative for patients with cancer. Cancer genetic testing is a series of tests that finds specific changes in cancer cells and normal cells in the body. Researchers may request to access these data as they explore how to better prevent, screen, or treat cancer. This study is also being done to create a biobank (library) of samples and information to learn more about treating cancer. Discovery of genetic variants in patients with cancer could result in opportunities for cancer prevention, earlier diagnosis or better therapy for cancer. Read Less

The researchers want to learn how androgens, a type of sex hormone, might affect nonalcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD) in young women over time. NAFLD happens when fat builds up in the liver which can cause damage to the liver such as inflammation or scarring. Young women with a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have a high risk for NAFLD, and they often have high androgen levels too. So the researchers are recruiting young women with PCOS as well as those without PCOS, and will compare changes in NAFLD over time between young women with and without PCOS. This phase Ib/II clinical trial tests the safety, side effects, and effectiveness of mosunetuzumab with chemotherapy for the treatment of patients with untreated, c-Myc rearrangement positive, high grade B cell lymphoma or diffuse large B cell lymphoma. A monoclonal antibody is a type of protein that can bind to certain targets in the body, such as molecules that cause the body to make an immune response (antigens). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as mosunetuzumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as etoposide, doxorubicin, vincristine, cyclophosphamide and prednisone work in different ways to stop the growth of cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving mosunetuzumab with chemotherapy may be safe, tolerable and/or effective in treating patients with untreated, c-Myc rearrangement positive, high grade B cell lymphoma or diffuse large B cell lymphoma. This study is designed to test the effects of diet data return on human dietary patterns. The investigators' working hypothesis is that returning diet data, collected via an empirical biomarker-based assessment method, will promote participant eating behavior changes towards a more healthful diet, and that these dietary patterns may also be reflected in the structure and function of the gut microbiome and in participant health outcomes. Here, the investigators will explore this hypothesis with participants supplying stool (poop) samples that will be used to assess their diet using the investigators' DNA-biomarker based method. Participants will have their diet data returned to them, and will then supply post-intervention stool samples for dietary assessment to investigate the efficacy of diet data return in impacting subject dietary patterns and health. It is anticipated that the investigators will enroll infants, children, and adults across the age span, including infants that are currently participating in Project HOPE 1000, a longitudinal observational study of mothers and infants from pregnancy through early childhood (Pro00100000). The goal of this clinical trial is to test the prosocial effects of personally-relevant, high-intensity episodic future-thinking (EFT) cues in alcohol use disorder persons and related brain mechanisms. The main question\[s\] this trial aims to answer are: Will high-intensity EFT cues will produce greater delayed reward preference than low-intensity cues? Will high-intensity EFT cues effect greater treatment-seeking interest? Will high-intensity EFT cues elicit greater response in regions for prospective thinking during delay discounting (vs. low-intensity) Will nucleus accumbens-precuneus resting connectivity correlate with behavioral SS? Will the novel behavioral SS decision-making task activate the nucleus accumbens? Researchers will compare the experimental (high-intensity group) and control (low-intensity) groups to see if there are differences in the results for the questions outlined above. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to use a novel virtual reality intervention to test for efficacy in reducing alcohol use and increasing abstinence, with concomitant increases in future self-identification, future time perspective, and delay-of-reward, in early recovering alcohol use disorder (AUD) persons. The main question\[s\] this trial aims to answer are: Will the Virtual Reality (VR) intervention decrease the number of stimulant use days? Will the VR intervention produce longer abstinence periods during follow-up visits? Will the VR intervention increase alcohol abstinence rates? Will the VR intervention increase future self-identification? Will the VR intervention increase self-reported future time perspective? Will the VR intervention increase preference for delayed rewards in a laboratory delay discounting task on the study day? Will the VR intervention produce gains in the behavioral effects of future self-identification, future time perspective, and delayed rewards at the 30-day and 6-month follow-ups? This clinical trial identifies and addresses barriers to pediatric medication adherence among families of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Pediatric nonadherence (noncompliance) to medication is a significant public health problem, and rigorous research repeatedly documents that nonadherence increases risk for hospitalization, healthcare cost, disease progression, and death. Pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients who miss 5% of 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) doses within the 2-year 6-MP regimen have a 2.7-fold risk of cancer that comes back after a period of improvement (relapse). To address these families' needs, researchers have developed MedSupport, a theory-based multilevel intervention with targets at the organizational, healthcare team, and caregiver levels that is designed to address root barriers to medication adherence. This study is being done to better understand families' experiences giving their child oral chemotherapy at home and to help families cope with the day-to-day challenges of giving their child medication. This clinical trial evaluates the impact of an education and navigation support tool (ENST) on patient and caregiver participation in care coordination for bladder cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), to other places in the body (metastatic) or that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Patients with advanced bladder cancer tend to be older, have multiple medical conditions and often have poor access to health care. An ENST may be an effective method to improve participation in treatment decision-making and care planning among patients with locally advanced, metastatic and unresectable bladder cancer and their caregivers.
