The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the use of virtual reality during chemotherapy treatment helps participants achieve an improvement in distress, which may include unpleasant experience, anxiety, depression and/or pain. Participants will: * Be randomly assigned to one of two available groups (virtual reality or standard of care) * Participations will only be during one chemotherapy session. * Those assigned to virtual reality: * The research team will provide a virtual reality * The research team will provide guidance on how the headset works and will be available to assist with any questions or concerns. * Participants will also be able to choose different relaxing backgrounds depending on their preference. headset during the chemotherapy session for 15 to 30 minutes * Those assigned to the standard of care: * The research team will provide the participants with the opportunity to choose a preferred activity such as reading a book, watching television, etc. Read Less

There is a significant unmet need for safe and effective therapeutic approaches to prevent immune-mediated graft injury and its complications in liver transplant (LT) recipients with autoimmune liver disease (AILD) including autoimmune hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Siplizumab is an anti-cluster of differentiation 2 (CD2) monoclonal antibody that has demonstrated a favorable safety profile of siplizumab in over 779 human subjects and has been shown to target memory T cells-a key driver in the immune processes surrounding rejection and autoimmunity post LT in AILD. The purpose of this pilot, open-label phase 1 study is to determine the safety of siplizumab for induction in patients with AILD undergoing LT. Up to eight (8) subjects will receive siplizumab 0.6 mg/kg/dose on the day of transplant (Day 0) and Day 4 post-transplant, for a total of two doses. The goal of this randomized trial is to learn if the Peer Group Connection - Middle School (PGC-MS) intervention delays initiation of sexual intercourse in middle school-aged youth. The primary research question it aims to answer is: Sixteen months after being offered the intervention, does PGC-MS impact youth's initiation of sexual intercourse? Researchers will compare participants randomized to receive PGC-MS (treatment group) to participants randomized to class-as-usual (which contains no sexual or reproductive health information (control group)). Participants randomized to the treatment group will be offered PGC-MS over the course of their transition year into middle school (either 6th or 7th grade). The researchers are doing this study to see if sotorasib is a safe and effective treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with a KRAS G12C mutation who have not received treatment for their cancer since it became advanced. This randomization study is to compare both intrathecal morphine and intravenous methadone, which are both standard of care, for pain management in patients undergoing retroperitoneal lymph node dissections for primary testicular cancer. The goal of this project is to demonstrate digital training efficacy at scale and commercial readiness. This pilot project will advance piloted digital training programs for CRAFT and maximize scalability. In this project, investigators will: Aim 1: Optimize the digital CRAFT training product based on data and feedback from the pilot and commercialization advisors. Aim 2: Conduct a fully powered randomized control trial of 3 levels of digital training (Level 1 - Digital tutorial only \[T\]; Level 2 - Tutorial \& digital training materials for self-study \[TM\]; Level 3 - Tutorial, digital materials, feedback and coaching \[TMC\]) to examine the effects of training on CRAFT knowledge, fidelity, and plus IP treatment entry/retention and counselor skill pre- and post-tutorial, at 12 weeks and at 6 months. The goal of this clinical trial is to explore whether additional treatments can help strengthen the participant's immune system to fight cancer caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a virus spread through intimate skin-to-skin contact. The trial will also monitor the safety of these treatments. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the combination of treatments help the participant's body fight the cancer more effectively when used alongside standard therapy? What side effects or medical issues arise when using these experimental treatments? Researchers will use three experimental therapies along with the participant's standard treatment to find out if these therapies work better together than standard treatment alone. Participants will: Receive HPV vaccinations during the 2nd and 4th week of radiation, and again at weeks 8, 10, 12, and 16 after completing radiation. Have blood samples taken, tumor cells brushed from the surface, and imiquimod cream applied during each visit. Take a daily metformin pill and apply an imiquimod suppository three times a week for two weeks after each visit. Read Less

In this prospective, Phase 2, randomized, double-masked, vehicle controlled study, approximately 66 eligible subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive either TL-925 or placebo as topical ophthalmic eye drops administered bilaterally. This study is being done in order to create a registry (list) of people interested in Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) research. It may be that you have a family member or other loved one with CADASIL, or that you may have CADASIL or are at risk. Participation means that your name will be added to a list of people who will be invited to participate in future research studies on CADASIL.
