The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of AZD2373 in participants diagnosed with APOL1-Mediated Kidney Disease (AMKD) who are homozygotes or compound heterozygotes for APOL1 high-risk genotypes (G1 and G2). The primary hypothesis to be evaluated is that AZD2373, compared with placebo, will result in a greater reduction in UACR as assessed by the relative change from Baseline in UACR at Week 30. The goal of this clinical study is to learn more about the study drug, obeldesivir (ODV; GS-5245), and how safe and effective it is in treating nonhospitalized adults with acute respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. The researchers want to see if obeldesivir can help participants' symptoms get better faster. The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the efficacy of ODV in reducing the duration of symptoms and to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ODV in nonhospitalized adult participants with acute RSV infection. Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory skin disease that causes painful lesions in the axilla (underarm), inguinal (groin) and anogenital (anal/genital) regions. This study will assess how safe and effective upadacitinib is in treating adult and adolescent participants with moderate to severe HS who have failed to respond to or are intolerant of anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) therapy. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Upadacitinib is an approved drug for ulcerative colitis, atopic dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and axial spondylarthritis and is being developed for the treatment of HS. This study is "double-blinded", meaning that neither the trial participants nor the study doctors will know who will be given upadacitinib and who will be given placebo. This study is comprised of 3 periods. In Period 1, participants are randomized into 2 groups called treatment arms where each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. In Period 2, participants are placed into 6 different groups depending on their placement and results in Period 1. Period 3 is the long-term extension period where participants will continue treatment from Period 2. Approximately 1328 adult and adolescent participants diagnosed with HS will be enrolled in approximately 275 sites worldwide. Participants will receive oral tablets of upadacitinib or placebo once daily for 36 weeks in Period 1 and Period 2. Eligible participants from Period 1 and Period 2 will enter Period 3 and receive oral tablets of upadacitinib or placebo once daily for 68 weeks. Participants will be followed up for approximately 30 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. The purpose of this trial is to test whether treatment with tralokinumab (administered subcutaneous injections \[SC\]) in combination with topical corticosteroids (TCS) is safe and effective to treat moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in children and infants. This will be judged by a range of assessments that rate the severity and extent of atopic dermatitis and its symptoms, as well as general health status and quality of life. The trial will last for up to 4 years. There will be visits every 2 weeks for the first year and every 6 weeks thereafter. Some of the visits will be conducted by phone. The study involves two different age groups: children aged 2 to under 12 years and infants aged 6 months to under 2 years. This trial compares tralokinumab +TCS to placebo + TCS for children with moderate-to-severe AD and evaluates tralokinumab + TCS for infants with moderate-to-severe AD. Infants will not receive placebo. All subjects will go through a screening process, which is the first part of the trial and will last up to 4 weeks. During this period, it will be checked if the child or infant meets the criteria to participate in the trial. The children will be randomly assigned to receive tralokinumab + TCS or placebo + TCS for the initial 16 weeks, with the treatment being double-blinded. During the first 16 weeks, children will have a 2 out of 3 chance of getting tralokinumab and a 1 out of 3 chance of getting placebo. Thereafter, all subjects will receive tralokinumab + TCS. The infants will receive tralokinumab + TCS as open-label treatment for the entire treatment period, meaning that the participants will know they are receiving tralokinumab. Participants eligible for the study will be randomly allocated (1:1:1) to receive either Luminopia dichoptic treatment while wearing optical correction if needed, Vivid Vision dichoptic treatment while wearing optical correction if needed, or continued optical correction alone if needed, with clinical assessments at 9- and 18-weeks post-randomization. At the 18-week primary outcome visit, participants who were randomly assigned to receive optical correction alone if needed with an IOD of 1 logMAR line (5 letters) or more, will be offered randomization to Luminopia or Vivid Vision dichoptic therapy and if they accept, followed forward with visits at 27- and 36-weeks post-randomization. Researchers are looking for a better way to treat people who have solid tumors with HER2-activating mutations. Before a treatment can be approved for people to take, researchers do clinical trials to better understand its safety and how it works. In this trial, the researchers want to learn how well BAY2927088 works in people with different types of solid tumors with HER2 mutations. These include tumors in the colon or rectum, the uterus and the cervix (lower part of the uterus), the bladder, and the biliary tract (includes gall bladder and bile ducts) as well as other types of solid tumors with the exception of people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Solid tumors may have specific changes or mutations to a gene called human epidermal growth receptor-2 (HER2). This leads to the formation of an abnormal form of HER2 protein in the cancer cells, resulting in increased cell growth. The study treatment, BAY2927088, is expected to block the abnormal HER2 protein which may stop the spread of cancer. The trial will include about 111 participants who are at least 18 years old. All the participants will take 20 mg of BAY2927088 as tablets by mouth. The participants will take treatments in 3-week periods called cycles. These 3-week cycles will be repeated throughout the trial. The participants can take BAY2927088 until their cancer gets worse, until they have medical problems, or until they leave the trial. During the trial, the doctors will take imaging scans of different parts of the body to study the spread of cancer and will check heart health using echocardiogram or cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and electrocardiogram (ECG). The doctors will also take blood and urine samples and do physical examinations to check the participants' health. This is a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind placebo controlled, 2-arm study to evaluate the effect of amlitelimab on vaccine antibody responses, and the safety of amlitelimab concurrently administered with non-live vaccines in adult participants with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The purpose of this study is to compare the immune responses to concomitantly administered Boostrix (tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis \[Tdap\]) and Pneumovax 23 (PPSV) vaccines in adult participants with moderate-to-severe AD treated with amlitelimab versus placebo. The study will evaluate the percentage of participants achieving a positive anti-tetanus response at Week 16 (primary endpoint) and a positive anti-pneumococcal response at Week 16 (key secondary endpoint). This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of VDPHL01 in male subjects with Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA). AGA (or male pattern baldness) is a genetic disorder caused by an excessive (too much) hair follicle response to androgens (hormone) that causes hair loss. VDPHL01 8.5 mg Tablet is an investigational oral drug to treat male pattern baldness. This multi-center, double blind, study will last about 13 months and includes 11 study visits (screening, baseline (day 1), week 2, month 1, month 2, month 4, month 6, month 8, month 10, month 12, month 13). The first 7 visits will be part of the placebo-controlled period. The next 3 visits will be part of the treatment extension phase.
