The purpose of this 20-week randomized double-blind study in patients with resistant hypertension (rHTN) is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability, of different doses of XXB750 administered as subcutaneous (SC) injections, compared to placebo. Since all study participants will be patients with rHTN, all study treatments will be given on top of maximally tolerated background antihypertensive therapy recommended by international guidelines for treatment of HTN (i.e., a thiazide or a thiazide-like diuretic, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEi) or an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and a long-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (CCB). The purpose of this study is to find out if somapacitan is safe and how well somapacitan works in children either born small for gestational age or with Turner syndrome, Noonan syndrome or idiopathic short stature. Somapacitan is a new growth hormone medicine for treatment of low level of growth hormone. The study will last for about 3 years. During the study, the participants will be treated with somapacitan once a week. Somapacitan can be injected anytime during the day. This is a multicentre study carried out in participants living with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) who have not previously been treated with any antiretroviral therapies. The study will investigate two 2-drug regimens for the treatment of HIV-1: a fixed-dose combination oral tablet of dolutegravir/lamivudine (DTG/3TC) and cabotegravir plus rilpivirine long-acting agents (CAB + RPV LA). All participants will initially receive DTG/3TC once daily, and once virologic suppression is attained (plasma HIV-1 <50 c/mL), participants will be offered a choice to switch to CAB + RPV LA or to continue taking oral DTG/3TC. This study will provide important data on the efficacy, safety, implementation effectiveness, and patient-reported outcomes of these two regimens in a study where participants have the option to choose between them based on individual preference. The aim of the study is to evaluate the antiviral effectiveness at 11 months after switching to CAB+RPV LA following initial virologic suppression on DTG/3TC and to provide data on how long it takes participants to suppress their viral load on DTG/3TC. The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about how study medicine (Paxlovid, which contains nirmatrelvir and ritonavir) is changed and eliminated from the body, as well as its safety, and the extent to which side effects can be tolerated for treatment of pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19 compared to non-pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19. This study is seeking participants who: are expecting a healthy baby and are in their second or third trimester pregnancy and have mild or moderate COVID-19 are not pregnant and have mild or moderate COVID-19. All participants in this study will take Paxlovid by mouth every 12 hours for 5 days. We will study the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help us decide if the study medicine is safe. All participants will take part in this study for at least 34 days; pregnant participants will take part until their delivery, so that the study duration may be up to 6 months, depending on their delivery date. During this time, participants will have 7to 8 visits and, if pregnant, a visit at delivery. Around 2 to 3 visits and the delivery visit will be done in person (at the clinic or at the participant's home). The other 5 visits may be done over the phone, unless in-person visit is necessary as decided by the doctor. Blood samples will be collected on the first 4 to 5 study visits (and at other study visits, if necessary). Read Less
