This phase III trial compares the effects of shorter chemotherapy (chemo)-immunotherapy without anthracyclines to usual chemo-immunotherapy for the treatment of early-stage triple negative breast cancer. Paclitaxel is in a class of medications called anti-microtubule agents. It stops cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of cancer cells. Cyclophosphamide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by damaging the cell's deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill cancer cells. It may also lower the body's immune response. Docetaxel is in a class of medications called taxanes. It stops cancer cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline chemotherapy drug that damages DNA and may kill cancer cells. Pembrolizumab may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Shorter treatment without anthracycline chemotherapy may work the same as the usual anthracycline chemotherapy treatment for early-stage triple negative breast cancer. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to assess antidepressant efficacy differences between ALTO-100 and placebo during the Double-Blind period in patients with bipolar disorder I or II with current major depressive episode, when used adjunctively to a mood stabilizer, related to patient characteristics. The overarching objective of this project is to develop a pan-gynecologic cancer detection test using gynecologic (unique endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer) cancer-specific methylated DNA markers and high-risk human papilloma virus (HR-HPV) detected in vaginal fluid and/or plasma. This proposal defines Phase II MDM-based cancer detection studies in endometrial cancer (EC) and endometrial hyperplasia with atypia (AEH) in tampon-collected vaginal fluid and 2) ovarian cancer (OC) in plasma and tampon-collected vaginal fluid. This phase III trial compares the effect of stero-ablative radiotherapy (SAbR) followed by standard of care systemic therapy, to standard of care systemic therapy alone, in patients with kidney cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to a limited (2-5) number of places in the body (metastatic). Study doctors want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for metastatic kidney cancer. The usual approach is defined as the care most people get for metastatic kidney cancer which includes systemic therapy such as immunotherapy (given through the veins) and/or small molecular inhibitor (tablets taken by mouth). Radiotherapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. SAbR uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. Giving SAbR prior to systemic therapy may kill more tumor cells than the usual approach, which is systemic therapy alone. Read Less

This study will follow participants who are screened and confirmed with a genetic diagnosis of Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2E (LGMD2E/R4), Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2D (LGMD2D/R3), Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2C (LGMD2C/R5), or Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2A (LGMD2A/R1). These enrolled participants will be followed to evaluate mobility and pulmonary function for up to 5 years after enrollment for participants with LGMD2C/R5, LGMD2D/R3, and LGMD2E/R4 with a North Star Assessment for Dysferlinopathy (NSAD) ≥ 25 at Baseline, up to 3 years for participants with LGMD2C/R5, LGMD2D/R3, and LGMD2E/R4 with a NSAD \< 25 at Baseline, and up to 3 years for participants with LGMD2A/R1. ABBV-RGX-314 (also known as RGX-314) is being developed as a novel one-time gene therapy for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Wet AMD is characterized by loss of vision due to new, leaky blood vessel formation in the retina. Wet AMD is a significant cause of vision loss in the United States, Europe and Japan, with up to 2 million people living with wet AMD in these geographies alone. Current anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapies have significantly changed the landscape for treatment of wet AMD, becoming the standard of care due to their ability to prevent progression of vision loss in the majority of patients. These therapies, however, require life-long intraocular injections, typically repeated every four to 12 weeks in frequency, to maintain efficacy. Due to the burden of treatment, patients often experience a decline in vision with reduced frequency of treatment over time. The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about how study medicine (Paxlovid, which contains nirmatrelvir and ritonavir) is changed and eliminated from the body, as well as its safety, and the extent to which side effects can be tolerated for treatment of pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19 compared to non-pregnant women with mild or moderate COVID-19. This study is seeking participants who: * are expecting a healthy baby and are in their second or third trimester pregnancy and have mild or moderate COVID-19 * are not pregnant and have mild or moderate COVID-19. All participants in this study will take Paxlovid by mouth every 12 hours for 5 days. We will study the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help us decide if the study medicine is safe. All participants will take part in this study for at least 34 days; pregnant participants will take part until their delivery, so that the study duration may be up to 6 months, depending on their delivery date. During this time, participants will have 7to 8 visits and, if pregnant, a visit at delivery. Around 2 to 3 visits and the delivery visit will be done in person (at the clinic or at the participant's home). The other 5 visits may be done over the phone, unless in-person visit is necessary as decided by the doctor.
