This is a two-part study of BIO 300 Oral Suspension in healthy male and female volunteers. The first part is a multiple ascending dose (MAD) study to test the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of the drug when given as daily doses over 14 days. The study will enroll three cohorts each receiving a different daily dose: 2000 mg, 3000 mg, or 4000 mg. A fourth group may be added depending on results on the first three cohorts. Each cohort will include 10 participants (5 men, 5 women), with at least 8 completing all study steps. Participants will follow a special diet low in soy-based foods and will fast before certain doses. Blood samples and health checks will be done throughout the study to assess safety, drug is absorption and distribution in the body (PK), and its effects (PD). Safety will be reviewed after each group finishes to decide if the next dose level is safe to proceed. The second part of the study is a food effect study to examine how food effects the PK of a single dose of BIO 300 Oral Suspension. This study will enroll 16 participants (8 men, 8 women) and will be split into two groups: one group will take the drug after fasting for 10 hours and the other will take the drug after eating a high-fat meal. After a 7-day break, participants will switch conditions (the previously fasted group will take the drug with food, and the previously fed group will take the drug after fasting). Blood samples and health checks will measure how food influences drug absorption (PK) and safety. The study team will use implementation science to accelerate the uptake of teleconsultationfor burn patients by 1) examining the relationships between clinician perceptions of acceptability, feasibility, intention to use, and actual use of burn teleconsultation 2) identifying the optimal process for burn teleconsultation and the barriers and facilitators for its use during a crisis or prolonged care situation, and 3) designing and testing the effectiveness of a specific, tailored burn teleconsultation toolkit intervention to increase burn teleconsultation use. The SuperSaturated Oxygen Comprehensive Observational Registry (SSCORE) registry, a prospectively designed observational study, aims to evaluate the clinical utility and effectiveness of SuperSaturated Oxygen (SSO2) Therapy versus percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) alone among patients with anterior acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in routine clinical practice. The goal is to collect real-world data from patients treated with SSO2 Therapy to determine its impact on the overall heart failure (HF) burden on patients and healthcare systems compared with usual care for treatment of patients with AMI. This phase III trial compares less intense hormone therapy and radiation therapy to usual hormone therapy and radiation therapy in treating patients with high risk prostate cancer and low gene risk score. This trial also compares more intense hormone therapy and radiation therapy to usual hormone therapy and radiation therapy in patients with high risk prostate cancer and high gene risk score. Apalutamide may help fight prostate cancer by blocking the use of androgen by the tumor cells. Radiation therapy uses high energy rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving a shorter hormone therapy treatment may work the same at controlling prostate cancer compared to the usual 24 month hormone therapy treatment in patients with low gene risk score. Adding apalutamide to the usual treatment may increase the length of time without prostate cancer spreading as compared to the usual treatment in patients with high gene risk score. Read Less

This phase III trial compares the effect of stereotactic radiosurgery to standard of care memantine and whole brain radiation therapy that avoids the hippocampus (the memory zone of the brain) for the treatment of small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a specialized radiation therapy that delivers a single, high dose of radiation directly to the tumor and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Whole brain radiation therapy delivers a low dose of radiation to the entire brain including the normal brain tissue. Hippocampal avoidance during whole-brain radiation therapy (HA-WBRT) decreases the amount of radiation that is delivered to the hippocampus which is a brain structure that is important for memory. The drug, memantine, is also often given with whole brain radiotherapy because it may decrease the risk of side effects related to thinking and memory. Stereotactic radiosurgery may decrease side effects related to memory and thinking compared to standard of care HA-WBRT plus memantine. Read Less

The overall purpose of this pilot study is to examine the feasibility, acceptability, and tolerability of light and moderate intensity exercise in adults with MGeffect of light vs. moderate intensity exercise on health outcomes. Participants will be enrolled into the NeuroWell exercise program, which is geared toward individuals with neurological disorders or injuries and led by Certified Exercise Physiologists (CEPs) at the HealthPartners Neuroscience Center. A total of 20 people with MG will be enrolled in this study and participate in a small group exercise program 3 times a week for 12 weeks. Participants will be randomized into two exercise groups: 1) Light intensity or 2) Moderate intensity. We hypothesize that light and moderate intensity exercise will be feasible, acceptable, and tolerable in adults with MG and that individuals in the light intensity exercise group will be able to achieve the same improvement in health outcomes as the moderate intensity group.
