This prospective longitudinal study will compare incidence rates of Medicare beneficiary surgical and minimally invasive intervention post index procedure, as well as harms associated with the MILD procedure, at 24 months post-treatment with MILD, tested against a control group of similar patients that have had a comparable procedure. This is an observational study in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) who will be receiving finerenone. Kidneys filter extra water and waste out of the blood and make urine. CKD is a long-term, progressive, decrease in the kidneys' ability to filter the blood properly. In people with T2D, the body does not make enough of a hormone called insulin, or does not use insulin well enough, resulting in high blood sugar levels that can cause damage to the kidneys. As a result, CKD can occur as a complication of T2D. Finerenone works by blocking certain proteins, called mineralocorticoid receptors. An increased stimulation of these proteins is thought to damage the kidneys and the heart. By lowering their stimulation, finerenone reduces the risk of kidney disease progressively getting worse. Finerenone is available and approved for doctors to prescribe to people with CKD and T2D. Since it has only recently become available for these patients, there is a need for more information about the use of finerenone in the real-world setting. The main purpose of the study is to learn more about treatment patterns in people with CKD and T2D who just started or will start finerenone treatment as decided and prescribed by their doctor as part of their routine medical care. To answer this question, the researchers will collect data on: * Clinical characteristics (e.g., history of CKD and T2D, blood pressure, heart health) of the participants * Reasons for starting finerenone * Reasons for stopping finerenone early * How long participants have been taking finerenone (planned by their doctor compared to actual time it was taken) * Dosing of finerenone * Other medications used while taking finerenone The researchers will also collect data on medical problems (called adverse events) that the participants may have during the study. All adverse events are collected, even if they might not be related to the study treatment. Hyperkalemia, a medical term used to describe a potassium level in the blood that is higher than normal, is of special interest when finerenone is combined with some medications commonly taken to control blood pressure. Researchers want to know how often higher potassium levels occur, and when it leads to: * Stopping finerenone treatment too early * Dialysis (a medical procedure to filter the blood of extra water and waste) * Care in a hospital All data will come from medical records or from interviews study doctors will have with the participants during visits that take place during routine medical care. Participants in the US will be invited to provide voluntary blood and urine samples that could be analyzed later to better understand possible changes in protein or nucleic acid levels over time. Each participant will be in the study for 12 months. This time participating in the study may be shorter if their finerenone treatment is stopped early or the study comes to an end as planned in September 2027. Read Less

This is a multicenter study that will be conducted at approximately 20 centers and up to 30 centers, if the sample size will be increased following interim assessment. The Q Therapeutic System (BQ 3.0) is a wearable medical device that produces and delivers non-invasive, extremely-low-intensity and low-frequency, frequency-tuned electromagnetic fields in order to stimulate neuronal networks with the aim of reducing disability and promoting neurorecovery. The Q Therapeutic System (BQ 3.0) is indicated for adjunctive use in a clinical facility or home setting, in addition to standard-of-care therapies. * In Stage 1 (starting 4-21 days after the index stroke event to day 90 post stroke), participants will be randomly assigned (1:1) to receive either active or the sham treatments, up to 5 times a week, and at least to a total of 45 treatments. * In Stage 2 (day 90 to day 180 post stroke), participants in both the active and the control group will be allowed to continue to receive active treatments, up to 5 times per week. * In stage 3 (day 180 to day 270 post stroke), participants will not receive any treatments and would be followed up until the final visit at day 270. Each session will last approximately 60 minutes, with stimulation activated for up to 40 minutes, in conjunction with a home-based exercise program. Treatments may be administered in the hospital, in the clinic or in a home setting. The study will enroll 100-122 adult subjects who will be randomly assigned (1:1 allocation ratio) to either active or sham study intervention using the BQ 3.0 system. Read Less

This is a pilot Type 1 Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Trial. The study will first examine reach in a non-traditional setting (the Emergency Department - ED) that uses an Electronic Health Record (EHR)-embedded Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) screening tool to identify lung screening-eligible patients for a tailored intervention to increase lung screening uptake. Reach is defined as the absolute number, proportion, and representativeness of individuals targeted for lung screening knowledge, awareness, and uptake. Then, a pilot trial will be conducted to examine the preliminary effectiveness of a tailored lung screening intervention compared to enhanced usual care to influence individual-level potential drivers of lung screening (health literacy, mistrust, stigma, fatalism, knowledge, lung screening health beliefs) and the ability to increase lung screening uptake among screening-eligible patients. This study examines the effectiveness of the cardiac rehabilitation program for stroke patients. The study will examine if patients with stroke, who receive cardiac rehabilitation in addition to their standard of care treatments, demonstrate improved recovery of function. It will also examine if these patients have reduced hospital readmission, reduced rate of recurrent stroke, and mortality. Read Less

An open label, non-randomized study in pediatric patients with advanced high-grade gliomas and other solid tumors. The study will be performed in two phases: a dose escalation phase in up to 18 patients following a standard "3+3" design to establish dose-limiting toxicity (DLT) and a "safe" dose of LAM561 followed by an expanded safety cohort of up to 10 patients treated at the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD). If the MTD is well tolerated in the expanded safety cohort, that dose becomes the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D). Glioma patients and other solid tumor patients (including non-glial brain tumors) will be treated as a single cohort. Patients with either tumor type will be allowed to enroll on the study as positions are made available. No tumor type will be given priority over another and there is no minimum number of glioma patients or solid tumor patients that must be enrolled on the trial. Read Less
