Studies show that creatine enhances benefits from resistance training, indicating potential to counter muscle mass and function decline post-cancer treatment. This study aims to assess the feasibilty of combining creatine supplementation with resistance training versus resistance training alone in sarcopenic colorectal cancer survivors. This is an observational case-control study to train and validate a genome-wide methylome enrichment platform to detect multiple cancer types and to differentiate amongst cancer types. The cancers included in this study are brain, breast, bladder, cervical, colorectal, endometrial, esophageal, gastric, head and neck, hepatobiliary, leukemia, lung, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, renal, sarcoma, and thyroid. These cancers were selected based on their prevalence and mortality to maximize impact on clinical care. Additionally, the ability of the whole-genome methylome enrichment platform to detect minimal residual disease after completion of cancer treatment and to detect relapse prior to clinical presentation will be evaluated in four cancer types (breast, colorectal, lung, prostate). This phase II trial studies how well TPIV100 and sargramostim work in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer that has residual disease after chemotherapy prior to surgery. It also studies why some HER2 positive breast cancer patients respond better to chemotherapy in combination with trastuzumab and pertuzumab. TPIV100 is a type of vaccine made from HER2 peptide that may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells that express HER2. Sargramostim increases the number of white blood cells in the body following chemotherapy for certain types of cancer and is used to alert the immune system. It is not yet known if TPIV100 and sargramostim will work better in treating patients with HER2 positive, stage II-III breast cancer. Read Less

This study is a 6-month randomized controlled trail of diet modification designed to reduce chronic inflammation and reverse metabolic dysfunction among obese individuals with one or more polyps found at a colonoscopy screening. We also will recruit an at least overweight partner, who lives in the same household. To be eligible, participants will be apparently disease-free, obese AAs or EAs who have self-identified a partner who is at least 9 years, with whom they live and who also is at least overweight. Each index participant will: 1) Be AA or EA by self-report; 2) Be ≤55 years old; 3) Have undergone a colonoscopy screening and found to have ≥1 polyp(s); 4) Be free of co-morbid conditions or other factors that would limit participation in this trial; 5) Have a BMI ≥30kg/m2; 6) Be willing to commit to investing the time and effort required to participate in this trial (i.e., willing to complete all assessments and provide biological samples as specified in the consent); and 7) Have no recent antibiotic use. Their partner needs to: 1) Be at least 9 years old; 2) Live in the same household and consumes meals together; 3) Be at least overweight; 4) Agree to all study procedures, including provision of biological samples, body measurements, and self-reported dietary and other assessments; and 5) Have no recent antibiotic use. Despite significant overall reductions in mortality rates for breast cancer over the past decade, both incidence and mortality rates have steadily climbed in adults diagnosed before age 50. This research project addresses factors associated with quality of life among and treatment response in early-age-at-onset breast cancer patients. The overall objective is collect information from early-onset breast cancer patients using an online questionnaire and examine factors related to cancer survival, (i.e.,better quality of life, better treatment adherence, less adverse treatment responses). Aim 1: Identify dietary patterns related to health-related quality of life in early-age-at-onset breast cancer patients. The investigators hypothesize that diet quality is related to better health-related quality of life among young breast cancer survivors. Aim 2. Identify demographic, social determinants, and geographic factors associated with treatment adherence. The investigators hypothesize that social determinants such as poverty-to-income ratio, education, and proximity to cancer treatment facilities are associated with treatment adherence in early-onset breast cancer. This is a phase II, open-label, single-arm, multi-center Study conducted in Canada and the United States. Patients with NMIBC CIS (with or without resected papillary disease (Ta, T1)) that are considered Bacillus Calmette-Guerin ("BCG")-Unresponsive or who are intolerant to BCG therapy. BCG-Unresponsive is at least one of the following: At least five of six doses of an initial induction course plus at least two of three doses of maintenance therapy; or, at least five of six doses of an initial induction course plus at least two of six doses of a second induction course. Patients experiencing disease relapse within 12 months after finishing the second course of BCG therapy are considered BCG-Unresponsive. The Study will consist of approximately 100 to 125 patients who will undergo two (2) PDT treatments employing 0.70 mg/cm\^2 of Ruvidar® (TLD-1433) at Day 0 and Day 180. Read Less

This study seeks to enroll participants who have a diagnosis of a solid tumor cancer and are willing to undergo germline genetic testing for cancer risk. At baseline, patients will be asked to provide 2 types of blood samples: 1 tube for clinical genetic testing and 2 tubes for future research use. A tumor sample from a previous resection or biopsy will also be obtained and sent to the sponsor. The clinician will be asked to provide relevant medical history and demographic information to the sponsor in the form of electronic case report forms. Read Less
